Every field is awesome doesn't matter what academic, skills-based, creative, business, political, and athletic fields you want to talk about. You just have to do extraordinary things in your own unique way.
EditRobotics, Mechanics , machines sound so interesting yet it hasn't peaked here. As per josaa, I got IIT R mech. Excited. Elder bro cracked 17 LPA, same college, same branch. Edit : He got placed in 2024.
Mechanical engineering is ideal for those who enjoy math, physics, and problem-solving. It's great for hands-on individuals who want to design and improve machines, working in fields like automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing.
I am starting my mechanical engineering journey in a few weeks from ASSAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE (the best state govt. college in assam). I didn't prepare for jee at all, hence couldn't get into any nits/iits. But I am confident that I'll be able to achieve something good in this field as I am quite interested in the field and I have planned to do masters anyway, This video reassured me that I haven't made a wrong decision. Thanks Bhaiya.
Have good subject knowledge and also learn CAD software which will help you in Project & getting a job. Apply off campus jobs if there is no placement in your college. Try to get an internship in 3rd & 4th year it will help you a lot. If want to do masters start preparing for GATE from 3rd year. With decent score you can get into IIT (only old & top IIT preferred). If you have min 1-2 years of work experience before doing MTECH at IIT. That will be a cherry on cake. GATE will also help you to get into ISRO, BARC, DRDO.
4:48 not skill gap, they are lack of practical knowledge which is bcos of lack of internship opportunities. Mechanical engg do study a lot but without having shop floor knowledge they cannot work sitting infront of screen unlike CS/IT. Most of expect a fresher with 2 years of experience. If you are from Tier-3 college if you are too good then you'll get 15-20k that's it. But risk of layoff is very less in case of mechanical engg an experienced engg is always an asset to a company. Unlike IT industry.
Aeronautical is a very niche stream. If you are truly passionate about it and are sure of it, then go for it. Otherwise mechanical will give you a more generalized path and you can choose to specialize in your masters or later part of the career.
I really want to mention one thing there are so many clgs whose top package achiever is from mechanical branch like one has 45 lpa and one has 70lpa in machine learning
1) WHen you search Naukri, Linkedin etc all jobs are for IT / software engineering only. Mechanical Engineering Companies hire very few. For PSUs you need very good GATE score also work conditions are not good in PSUs. 14-16 hour daily, working in small city like Jharkhand. 2) INDIA doesn't have manufacturing sector, bureaucracy so have to wait for promotion. 3) There is no innovation in INDIA. 4) Colleges including top IITs / NITs will teach you outdated curriculum. Most ENGINEERS in Mechanical will have to pursue masters study abroad in GERMANY, USA etc so that then can be fit to be hired at an INDIAN. 5) Unless you do Mechanical Engineering from a top university in INDIA your CV won't even get shortlisted. 6) In IT / Software its easier to learn stuff as there is UDEMY, Edtech, RU-vid but in Mechanical Engineering you have to rely on University Placement
If it is a govt clg so you can do but from private universities you go through the computer science in the days no company going for clg in placement of mechanical engineer only for CS

You have to write ISRO ICRB written test and then Interview to get into ISRO as Scientist-C Recently they have conducted interview in Sept-oct those who qualified ISRO written test. Wait for next recruitment.
but my exact problem is i can't figure out what's for me.... what should i do after 12th( I passed this year only ) and confused like hell what are these and what is good for me ... and I know none so how can i know my interests... like people mostly talk about CSE and that's what i have known at some extent like coding and all..... Please Bhaiya help me i am in such problem 😢
Bhaiya MAIT ki ITE(Information Technology and Engineering) Ko GATE mai PSU and masters ke liye CS/IT jaisa same consider kiya Jaata hai na...koi Discrimination toh nhi hota CS/IT aur ITE ka beech?
Bro most colleges mein aise specialization branch ki degrees mein core branch hi mentioned hoti hai. So, discrimination toh nahi hi hota GATE mein as it is all about your caliber there.
Sir me polytechnic me Mechanical engineering lena chahta hu but meri percentage km hone ki wajah se mujhe Automobile branch mil rhi hai . kya mujhe Automobile hi le leni chahiye ya phir next year ke liye wait karu ? Me lagbhag 1 month me 22 saal ka ho jayuga Please reply sir 🙏
You have to gain experience of min 5 years + strong referral. Otherwise you should be from top tier like IITs & NITs. Note: They recruit Aeronautical Engineers.
They have many indian employees as well. You may have to traverse a tougher and more complicated path to get there ig. If you pursue masters abroad, the path might be a little easier.
