I´ve never had any problems with my wacom tablet. said that, if you prefer a softer surface or you don´t want to wear down the nibs with al that scratching, many people (me included) just use a smotther surface over the tablet´s active area. Tape a piece of acetate or autoadhesive film over that and there you go, solved. the pencil willl work the same, Ive tried using it over a cd case in top of the area and it worked just fine.

Using the lasso tool is kinda hard for me on a mouse, you think it’s worth it to get this for cropping out images?

at least you got to the stage where you can try it out. It took me a couple of hours to just get the driver up on my Mac ... but the connection of the tablet just did not work... I tried with about 7 different cables... nothing. Does not connect to the Mac... So it went into the trash

Nice honest opinions 👍 I was going to ask for your longer term opinion now that you've had it... But then I saw this was just uploaded. I've been using a Wacom bamboo for years and have your exact same issues and love hate relationship. I'm trying to decide if buying a newer better model would sway me to full time love. Yeah I will put out a video after trying it out for a few weeks more, but I gotta say, I'm already growing more used to it by the day. I would also be curious about trying something more "high-end" but I'll just have to ask around to see if I'd get to try one out somewhere. A display tablet might be more up your alley, essentially identical in how it connects to your pc but has a display (usually glass) so would do the same but work and feel a bit more as your android tablet did.

That is very correct. I'm very interested in trying one out but seeing the cost is a bit much. Maybe one day though.

I’ve had my tablet for a few years and I still can’t get used to it. Do you have any recommendations on your mouse preference?

I also got mine for editing.... it is good for faking hair/fur or sculpting in Zbrush. but I sold it. It gave me a weird feeling. No more tablets... I'm happy with the mouse... 😅🤣

I edit car pictures in Photoshop will graphic tablet works with that

Doesn't really matter what you're editing and photoshop should definitely be compatible with graphic tablets. It's not for everyone but I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot.
