I think you lay it out perfectly, when you say home roasting is for... A.) People who are really passionate about coffee, and or B.) Want to save money... I was a bit of each, but I am not sure I have actually saved any money because every time I see some new bean in stock at Sweet Maria's I "have to" get it... So I have way more coffee than I realistically need lol!
You are fully stocked for the big bean'pocolypse!! Yea, it really is true thou, with the longevity of green beans, it's easily to go a bit trigger happy on the ordering page when you see all the green beans haha
Nice intro to coffee roasting for the beginner. I wish I had more guidance like this when I started but I think I'd have ended up where I am anyway. Just would have gotten here faster, ha.
