Like you - a newbie with the Mini 3 pro and agree with your general comments about control. Nice to hear a down-to-earth review and your impressions of the using goggles and controller.. Cheers...
Thanks! I have the Avata 2 now with the new goggles and RC. They have really good sales on the combo. It's a really nice setup if you can swing it. The only downsides of the avata 2 is the single axis stabilization and short battery life.
FINALLY got the goggles2 and MC2 to talk to my mini3 pro. Got aggravated getting firmware updated and the getting the stupid devices to bound with the drone. Then the pairing seemed erratic. But after about three attempts and RE-bounding and RE-registration I finally got everything to talk. SO painful and convoluted- and I’m NOT technically inept. DJIs whole approach is pretty cumbersome and their tech support is lacking real recommendations other than canned response. Anyways - back to flying!
Yeah, I had some trouble with it too, but once I figured out the dji assistant app it went relatively smooth. I don't have any of my controllers bound any more. That way I can switch back and forth.
Hi , I have a DJI Mini 3 Pro. In your opinion, with the DJI RC N1 I have the same 50 mps transmission as the Motion Controller 2 or is it 25 mps? Furthermore, are there any differences in piloting the Mini 3 Pro with the RC N1 compared to the remote control with the display or the RC? Thank you so much 🙏
Honestly, I have no idea on any of this. I just did this video from a beginner's perspective, because that's what I am. You'll have to find someone with more experience to answer those questions.
I want to do this with my mini 3pro! I have the DJI FPV drone and it is awesome but when you just want to cruise around without making all the noise then the mini 3 is hard to beat!
Not if you wear glasses. Unfortunately as of last summer I have needed to wear glasses all the time, age 🤣🤣. Wanting to get into fpv I ordered the integra goggles only having to send them back. The plastic corrected lenses did not work for me. I did not want to pay for custom lenses to be made. It’s really too bad dji did not keep the dial in lenses that they have on the v2 goggles. I fly a friends dji fpv once ant the v2 goggles dail in lenses worked great, vey clear. Since dji doesn’t make the v2 goggles any more I guess I am SOL. Its too bad because I wanted to buy the avata. O’well.
Man that sucks. There's quite a few of those v2 goggles on ebay. There's even a kit up right now that has the avata, 2 controllers and the v2 goggles. It's at $715 with 3 days left on bidding. Thanks for the info.
Like you, I now have to wear glasses, flying traditional drone off of your phone or controller is no issue but goggles another thing! with the V2 I don't need to wear glasses at all such a relief
Hello sir! I was thinking to use DJI Mini 3 PRO with DJI goggles Integra with DJI RC Basic controller, is that possible or I have to buy RC Motion 2 Controller to use them in combo?
I don't think these goggles will work with the basic controller. It might work with the goggles. When you say the basic controller are you referring to the RC-n1, or the "FPV Remote Controller 2"?
