It's hard to be excited for the new cards when most of the returning spotlight cards are terrible value. FTP likely won't be getting their hands on these without wasting keys.

I think Misery should also work with those small disruptive on reveal cards, like Iceman, Korg, Scorpion, Master Mold etc. But I'm not sure if we actually need it in those decks. Anyway, I'm just targeting at both War Machine and Namora on Misery's week

Scorn and Scream look so good. And I love how they really made Toxin exactly like he is in the comics; the opposite of his dad LMAO I love the symbiotes in the comics so much and already have enough keys saved up to guarantee every single one of these!

Agent venom in cerebro 4 is a meme but in surfer/sera you should get 8-10 extra power across the board at the end of the game for 2 energy as long as you play him on t2-3. both deck have almost only 4 power cards or lower. Also - remember bast mystterio interaction - she turn him in to a 2/9 power. With this mysterio is 2/12

I want to use Misery for my destroy deck. I feel its perfect for the repeat Forge and Killmonger and it adds to Knull and Death

I did the survey before fully watching the video and I misread Toxin as giving +2 to every card it returns, instead of giving it to himself, so that's going to reflect on why I thought it was going to be the best card, still think it's going to be good lol

Maybe I'm wrong, but I read Misery as Deathlok with more potential upside. I'm actually pretty stoked for what I think will be a destroy and Nimrod staple. I think the Odin/Armor stuff will just be a fun side space to play with it in.

Im most excited for Agent Venom and Scorn. AV works perfectly alongside Bast to double the chances of you buffing your hand throughout the game, also AV buffs Bast and you rarely wanted to play Bast turn 1 anyway. With Scorn, im already using Collector/Discard to great success in the current meta, so thats a must get for me. Both are 4 star competitive cards to me

All I’ll say is this… this month screams Knull deck like we got a Thanos deck with cull and Caiera and black swan all interact well, now we are getting a direct Knull support deck.

Misery and scorn are a must from me. Crazy potential. Misery best variant is the 1,2k gold one.

Scorn is gonna be a must in collector discard.

This is why it is important to hear the thoughts of multiple creators both prior to a new card release and while it is in spotlights. The community greatly benefits from people like you who shed light on what the potential synergies of said cards. Excited for 4 of the 6 new cards, the exceptions being Scream and Anti-Venom.

Anti venom king op. Knull max death mixed with toxin to clear field then replay venom boosting it further. I can see knull 60 plus averaging power per game

Anti venom would be great in sera control. You often wanna do most of your pieces turn 6. Being able to hit a combo piece with anti venom means a potential free shang, marvel, shadow king, rogue, enchantress etc. I wouldn't get anti venom for this but it's considerably strong in a deck that is like 90% tech pieces.

Do we know if misery destroys all your cards? Or just your on reveal cards?

I would go for scream, scorn and toxin maybe, but maybe with tokens as i do not like the variants forbother cards

Easy skips for Scream, Misery and Anti-Venom for me and none of the weeks are really great for the other cards in the caches

I'm getting Agent Venom and most likely Misery (not because I want her but it's one of the super rare weeks for me where I'm missing all three cards). Outside that, maybe Anti Venom or toxin week but yeah. Also yup, Agent Venom is definitely going to be worth a try in surfer like you say, I'm surprised more people aren't talking about it tbh

I could see Scorn and Misery in a semi discard semi destroy deck; 1 Scorn 2 Blade 3 Morbius 4 Wolverine 5 Collector 6 Colleen 7 Daken 8 Sword Master 9 Silver Samurai 10 Misery 11 Proxima 12 Modok The idea is to always discard Scorn and hopefully Scorn will buff either Collector or Daken (though it will buff Collector in a sense since Scorn will be going back to the hand) for big numbers later, Misery make sense here because you can put Blade, Colleen, Sword Master in 1 lane and reactivate them with Misery, the only counterintuitive with that play is that the said cards have high power and can easily win that lane so why would you want to destroy them, but with that said, that's a good interaction between Misery and Armor or Wakanda location since you can reactivate that lane and not destroy them. Wolverine is just a flex card but if you can't discard the Muramasa Blade, play the Muramasa in Wolverine's location and use Misery in it. If you manage to discard Scorn 5x, she is basically 1/12 when you drop her at turn 6 and she buffed cards in play 5x so she is essentially a staggering 1/22. 5-star in my books.

Im so excited for this month. Agent Venom seems lowkey cracked. Scream is gonna be fu. With steggron, polaris, and aero. Misery is being slept on in my opinion. Electro into misery is a slightly easier wiccan. Also works great with the infinity stones in a thank deck. And the spice. Play misery in clog. T1 Silver Sable. T2 white widow. T3 debrii. Turn 4 misery. Im hyped! Scorn is also going to be sweet. Not as good as originally datamined but still a fun card for diacard. Only card im not sold on is anti-venom.

Honestly...all these cards seem skippable. Ive never had a season where i didnt really want a single card. They all feel like they go in a specific place EXCEPT for antivenom, even then its like who do i want him to buff/nerf on turns 3-5. Scorn and scream i might get, but definitely dont need them for their archetypes. Even agent venom feels weird. Misery is an odin/deathlock & the only combos i can think of that you didnt mention is clog. Toxin is typically a 2-4 unless you beast/grandmaster him and that might be fun with new black swan. Definitely glad im saving resources next month since i went through more than half for this month

In my humble opinion, women don't seem approachable in a romantic sense. Maybe it's just me, but even if I say hi and strike a conversation, it's always a mix bag. Fear or rejection might be getting to me, but it seems that there is more risk than reward. For me here is often how I break it down. If it's the workplace, not appropriate and can ruin the work environment. If it's the gym, don't want to be a creep and ruin someone or my motivation to go to the gym. If it's a coffee shop, to shallow, don't even know them. For me, I have not seen anyone I would be interested at drinking areas, but that's not really my thing. I wonder, is this just me being to much of a wimp?

Great video as always! I think it is good for cards to be specific to certain archetypes, because snap is pretty expensive if you want to open for '' good '' cards in general. For example, I do not play bounce so I would not mind to skip Toxin.

Toxin also just has a nice anti-clog/affliction ability. Nope I'm not clogged there anymore. I didn't want that 0 power Spider-Ham anyway. Yoink!

Luke Cage does not have any synergy with Anti-Venom or Agent Venom for that matter. Setting the power does not count as lowering the power and therefore Luke Cage does not restore the affected cards to base stats. This is why Shadow King and Valkyrie are effective even when Luke Cage is out.

i need misery to work in destroy, its the only reason im getting it lol so on that note what if you throw moon girl in there? having multiple wolverines getting destroyed along with multiple deaths in hand? idk lol

this game will eventually kill itself because it releases to many cards. Even long time vets are getting sick of not being able to keep up.

The spotlights have been so fire these past seasons, for me right now it’s looking like toxin and anti venom are the pickups this season

only problem with scorn is that you cant guarentee it anytime swarm creates more of itself soe the chance of you hitting it is greater

Misery fits into destroy pretty well however destroy is boring a.f to play major pass

probably gonna play agent venom in bounce , good with sage / kitty / bishop etc

Anti venom will find a home in an ongoing tribunal deck. There is a lot of great hits similar to iron lad.

out side olf scream and toxin this is a save keys and tokens season.

Misery on Electro to get rid of it AND get 1 more max energy is my first thought.

Scorn for discard and toxin for bounce I'm all in for these two cards

Think about it. Silver Sable. Caiera. Misery. Odin. Caiera protects the Silver Sable and Odin, so Misery and Odin repeat forever

If the Spotlight stay as they are datamined I will get Scorn with tokens as i am an Discard Hardcore Fan. And i will get Toxin with keys, really nice cause i dont have Elsa Bloodstone yet. I might throw some keys at Scream if she performs good enough. Agent Venom is a really interesting card, and it could make for a nice tool in decks with generally low Power curve: my guess is that some versions of Bounce, Patriot and Surfer will really like this card. Might even be good enough for some experientation in Destroy, the only cards it is really hurting a lot in that archetype is Death, who knows. Scream is a cool synergy pice for "move enemy cards" decks i hope she brings the deck into a viable place, she might counter move but that feels more like a bonus to me. I have genuinely no idea what the intention behind is Misery is, but i am scared of the potential that the card has and what it is going to be used for. Toxin is going to be a bounce carnge and i feel like he is easily the best card of the season, Cranage is a surprisingly flexible card in my opinion and giving up one power for the ablity to play the cards again sound good. ( With so many Bounce tools, i really woder if "Mini Bounce"/"Werewolf by Night" decks might get out of hand again and i really regret now not picking up Silver Sable, she just fits perfectly in Evo and Bounce, my 3th and 2th favorite Archetypes) Anti Venom seams just weird and after you metioned Iron Lad i need to fully agree, why would you play Anti Venom instead of Iron Lad, i also really dont see any good reason too. The only thing i could imagin is some kind of super nice and likely not viable Combo deck.

Was excited about antivenom until you pointed out the obvious that he’s a worse ironlad. If antivenom also drew the card or simply cost less, I think he’d have a home. Being priced the same as ironlad and jubilee and doing a similar job much worse hurts him.

October cards are so good I want them all! My top want is probably the least liked card though that is Toxin. Agent Venom in bounce will be nice though.

If I get Antivenom my plan is to play him in a Luke Cage Mister Negative deck. I feel like that's the only deck he can be competitive in also not a bad idea to play Spectrum and Wong in this deck.

Agent venom I think will be op in a kazoo deck. Imagine all them 1 cost cards that has 4 power to start. Then they get higher with marvel boy an others.

Dont understand, how Scream is flexible. A lot of players don't play move cards at all, so without Polaris-Stegron-Polaris she is just 2-2. Maybe she is a good card for disruption move archetype with Kingpin, but in other cases she will suck ass, im sure
