Yup, that's kind of a useless point for a Pro but that's how they have distinguished the two.

@@eargasmic3060 Imagine Apple changing the colour of its iphone to call it pro or pro max.. I think after market cables might make thse headphones like Pro Max or pro Ultra or extreme, After market cables will be better and have better sound and also you can customise the length of the cable and even the colour other than BLACK and also come with possibly balanced option. Does this allow balanced? Based on the choices, I dont think they have balanced option.

I think there are balanced cables available for 490 pro, they aren't much expensive either.

But that a different cable changes the dynamics and synergy, it's more like a pairing review rather than just the HP.. Playmate 2 it is. 😅
