thanks for the review. Gonna go straight for the book. I hate sci-fi where every alien is basically human with some quirks, that's usually cheap world-building. Things like Dune are another thing entirely, don't get me wrong.
Im in the middle of reading this, well listening because i am soely listening to it as an audiobook. I feel you guys are over stating how rough a read or listen the book is.
@@2ToRamble hey! Idk! To be honest I just don’t feel like testing myself but I bet I would accidentally love it. Now I actually have to read the first page! Thanks for the reply
This book is 80% dogs planning to fight eachother, then having a one sided battle and none of the plans actually mattered. The sci fi concepts are far out things like dial up internet in space and email forums in space. No redeeming qualities, main villain makes one appearance in the prologue and never again, the deep is never set a fire upon either.
Highly overrated book, the way people talk about it make it more interesting than what actually takes place on the pages The ideas are cool and would have potential but so lamely pulled off. The main characters are 2 human plebs that hooked up trying to rescue children. It's boring
