It's part of the Off-White branding, but it's up to the wearer on whether to keep it on or not depende sa taste. Parang yung sticker lang sa New Era cap, yung iba tinatanggal, pero sa karamihan nakadikit pa din.

I feel as if in the end, it's just your own preference. Wear your kicks, in any way that you like. I have the Vapormax part 2 in white and sometimes I like to wear the ziptie but only with the white laces and when I'm feeling the blue laces, I remove the ziptie so it's not too much.

Thats why you move the tag you dont leave it dangling on the side. I had a problem with that too then i saw people moving it to a more secure position. That ziptie is just the same with the jordan chain tags the shoes look coller with it.

Here's the thing, Off-White aestheticizes industrial features. The zip tie is a signature accessory of Off-White. They have a video showing that you should just cut it off, but thats just to provoke. for future reference, you can remove the ziptie without cutting it !! all you have to do it jam something slim enough into it to lift the lock (tas gawing giveaway HAHAHAH)

The red tag is a visual branding cue. Of course in all the promotional pictures the red tag is present. Thats to enhance the visual branding cues/ presence. However, the red tag does not work practically. Therefore hence why virgil has made a video recommending the removal of it. That is purely to enhance the experience of wearing the shoe. Which is a key element of the product, comfortable application of the shoe. If you ask me, i wear my shoes and would remove the tag. But others would persevere with the red tag still being attached

Contrary to what some folks are saying here (and you know this bro ;D), the zip tie does NOT make the kicks "authentic" Off-Whites, since reps and fakes have it too. I personally don't like wearing it 'cuz it moves all over the place, especially on the Prestos and Air Max; not so much on the Carolina's and Chicago's... so yeah, to each his own - no wrong way of doing. I think the video is saying, "cut it off" "leave it alone" not "cut it off, leave it alone" meaning cut it off if you want, or leave it alone if you want. However, you want to wear it is best. If it annoys you, cut it off. Leave it alone if you like that way.
