Should You Spend More on your Audio Gear?

I only do videos about gear when I have a reason to buy it myself. I find that I can get by with the budget version of things for quite a while and while this isn't always the best thing to do all the time while you're trying to keep your out goings low sometimes you can get by with the budget version.
That being said sometimes it time to upgrade and I wanted to talk you through my thoughts on this particular upgrade.
Quick disclosure, I've not had a chance to use the alternatives but I mentioned them so I've linked them below, I can vouch for the Røde but not the other two.

I was going to comment the sound is changing in and out from good to bad. Glad my ears work. The Rode is definitley great.

Sure, the Rode is way better, but there are more options on the budget than the C-2. Did you try the Takstar CM-63?

Yeah there are and I've tried a few over the years, not the CM-63 though. The C-2 was just the absolute cheapest at the time. My point was to look at the one I had and the one I upgraded to, not a comprehensive overview. I'd love to have the money and time to play and test every mic. Thanks for watching!
