Hey great video love your content simple and to the point. I had a question about when starting out going to door should I be trying to same day most of my jobs?
Thanks for the feedback, and for watching, I appreciate it! That’s really up to you, there’s no right or wrong way to decide. For me personally, rather have a whole day focused on sales so I could really “get in the zone”. Then maybe I can line up several jobs over the next week. If you are in desperate need of cash, then there’s nothing wrong with offering to do the work on the spot, especially if the customers open for it. Some door-to-door companies insist on doing the work on the spot because they don’t want the customer to look up their company and find out that they have a terrible reputation 😂 If you’re not being pushy, and you are careful with building a reputation, there is no need to fear, and you can really adjust your scheduling process based on what works for you in a given season.
@@bluladder okay awesome thanks for the feedback. I ask because I’ve done a few jobs where I scheduled them but they ended up cancelling on me due to not having money or family emergency’s so I figured I’d asked a professional for advice on how I should go about it.
Great video great information. I bought a zero residential water fed pole system, but I’ve only used it twice. I really wish I knew what to charge per window because I can never get people to do it. Anybody have some suggestions
Where do you live? And what prices have you tried to charge? I’d be happy to help however I can Usually this is why I recommend to wait before investing in a water fed pole set up, and spend that money on marketing instead
@@bluladder thank you. The money for start up was not a problem. I have a great full time career and just do this as a side gig for now. I charge $5 per pane. I don’t do any interior or screens. Tampa FL
@@benderprofessionalservices9018 price sounds good, it’s more of a numbers game from there… get more leads, and you’ll have more work. What do you do for marketing? And Do you have a google business profile set up, or any other profile with 5-star reviews?
Another reason to start a window cleaning business... you will have competition that uses WFP when you can use a squeegee and get done in half the time
