Should you store your wedding dress in plastic?  

I work in museums and the correct way to store clothing artifacts/fragile materials is in acid free tissue paper and then put in an acid free box. Make sure to change out both on a regular basis and if you live in a humid environment, put a humidifier in the box to regularly monitor for any mold spores.

Trust me, plastic was right for my wedding dress. Black plastic.

What about a current dress? What's the current recommendation?

I just sold my dress for $400…I would rather sell it to someone who will use it and enjoy it than let it rot in my closet in a box

And you’re not going to explain the magic to whitening the dress???
