Or the input delay trick. Click R about 0.75 seconds after you land for a random drift to put you in dead last. Edit: wait what where did you guys come from
@@Shortcat321 Yeah lol, my comment started suddenly getting replies again out of nowhere so I watched the new short. No hard feelings, but my biggest complaint is that now the Internet thinks I'm straight when I'm a flaming homosexual
I don’t even have a Wii but still I love watching these videos. Last Mario Cart I had was the first one in the 90s. Brings back some serious nostalgia.
I love how if you gave a different person control over tricks and drifting and left all other controls to the player, the other person would still have the most difficulty remembering when to trick and drift and in which direction.
Dude you are jperm right? I remember watching your videos and you mentioned you really enjoyed playing mario cart. I do miss your cubing vids. Real og times man.
That checks out. Reminds me of how in the races in GTA, most people (at least those who do it professionally or are just really good) will often brake just before a jump, as it reduces airtime. They’ll sometimes even go so far as to have only half the car hit the ramp and do a corkscrew in mid-air to reach the ground faster. Doesn’t work with the taller, wider cars though.
I like how Crash Team Racing NF handles this. The more airtime you get, the longer your boost lasts for so it's usually beneficial to jump boost late especially since it will help you keep your sacred flame if you have it.
