We shouldnt be feeding the beast that is apple. A dollar isnt of crazy value but thats how they hook us. Imagine how much apple is making from this @@2william
Good Advise. I find the iCloud management somewhat confusing especially with the syncing of pics. I find it easier to just move the pics to my PC and save a low res backup on google photos.
I don’t think that’s how it works. If that’s how it works then it would have been advertised as that. It’s not though. They also wouldn’t give monthly subscriptions. They messed up though by creating so many different versions of the iPhone after the 10 it really started getting out of hand. I still got my XR and am happy as ever 😅😊
If I own an iPad and I want to move all of my photos without having to save them to files (which takes up space) would I have to use the external hard drive EVERY SINGLE TIME I MAKE A NEW PHOTO?! like even when I draw an art while I’m on a trip or outside?
You can store pretty much everything in iCloud. What other service can you store or offload apps to? This is a moot point since NO service can do this. Also iCloud+ gives you custom email domain, private relay, hide your email and if you add Apple One news, fitness+, arcade, Apple TV+ for cheap compared to other options.
What? It's basically a storage subscription. It costs 0.99/month to have 50gb available to you. If you decide not to pay anymore - you get downgraded back to the free plan. Just like any other subscription out there.
@@danielworrell3438 nope, unfortunately that’s not how it works. That would be insanely cheap to have 50gb for 0.99 cents and I would buy that without even thinking 😄
I do a lot of content creation and take videos and pictures. when I store them on iCloud do I need to move them to internal storage when I want to edit the pictures/videos or can I edit them while they are on iCloud?
@@leobautista988 if you go into your icloud settings there’s a option called “optimize iphone storage” where you can remove photos from your device and keep them in icloud instead. that should save some storage.
@@poalima6527by doing this, putting your photos in iCloud can you still find and look at your photos with ease? Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I’m just not up with all this technical stuff
hy bro love from India.. plz tell me what if i do not upgrade it after one month??? will i lost my documents nd pics??? and if my storage was 40gb full out of 50gb.. then after buying it in nxt month i will again get 10gb free only?? rply plz
If you stop paying for your iCloud storage you will receive a pop-up on your phone telling you to pay. If you refuse, you will have 30 days to get your data from the cloud before it's erased permanently. If in those 30 days you decide to keep paying, all your stuff will remain there.
I regret buying it honestly now I gotta figure out what I’m gonna do so I don’t have to delete all my pictures because I don’t know how to transfer it plus the data on my computers are synced so I’m worried it will cause data issues
could you explain what the backup of apps really is? cuz for example when i go into backup details, it shows the backup for all apps, but what do they include? cuz for example there is whatsapp, which is the backup of the chats photos etc, which ok makes sense and i could possibly in the future back up separately on a computer, but an app like instagram, if i save certain photos and videos physically on my phone, why would i need a backup? if when i log in into instagram the chat history is all there, so what does it backup exactly in that case? same question for tiktok or other social media
App backups are only app data and metadata and not the app itself since its readily re-downloadable from Apple Store again, but the personal data isn’t 😊
@@Mario-ne8vx if you downgrade your storage plan so that your backup is bigger than your storage then it will be erased. But if it fits within your free 5gb plan you’re good. If you delete an app and then decide to reinstall it the data will be there. If you get a new phone and restore from backup the apps will be redownloaded from the App Store and the data and Home Screen layout will be restored from your iCloud backup
@@matthewgreene1823and what if the USB will break? Or what if you want to access the data from your laptop or another phone while not having the usb with you?
Hello! I have recently upgraded my icloud to 50GB but why it still shows storage full??? I am just not getting it… Also Out of 50GB 35Gb has already backed up… I am just not getting it what’s wrong with my storage… Please help me out…
I do not , like I mentioned above just get a USB flash drive and store everything you want from the phone to the hard drive of the MacBook. Thats what I do. When it gets full get another flash drive! Never be forced to buy something that you aren't yet comfortable buying. Friendly advice from one guy to another.
God knows how but my 13 years old daughter using 100GB of storage between her phone and iPad . Her game genshin impact take a lot of storage . It make no sense if you delete photo from i phone it delete from iCloud also then what’s the point of iCloud and paying for it ..
i bought my 12 yo son and daughter iphone last year, both of them have 1TB Storage and they both make videos together all the time and with their friends, somehow they both managed to have over 350,000 pictures and videos, most of them they use for editing n stuff but it’s absurd 😂
How do I transfer all of my photos and videos to my new iPhone 13? I had an iphone X and just got an iPhone 13 and this new phone has 512GB but it only transfer 1600 of my photos and videos and I had over 7000
What does hiding the email do for you exactly anyways? I never have my email hidden and nobody has ever stopped me before. I do get random spam emails but I can move them to a spam folder for free. Nobody has ever stolen my identity and if they do they aren't getting much haha jkjk.
@@matthewgreene1823with that feature you can create “one time use” mails. Let’s say that you want to subscribe to a newsletter, but you don’t want to use your main mail address. With hide my email, you can create a “fake mail”(I don’t know how to describe it in another terms) and use this mail to subscribe to that newsletter. All the mails which the “fake mail” will receive, will be forwarded to your main email address. That’s how it works. And when if you want to stop the newsletter mails to come, you can easily go in your iCloud settings and delete that “fake mail” and that’s all, don’t need to bother with finding the “unsubscribe” button to stop the mails to come
