This one really helped me!!!. When i felt my practice swings just concentrating on turning back and through with the torso. Legs do what they are supposed to do naturally, Arms and shoulders remain passive. I have been playing for a long time. This feeling is the feeling i have been desperately searching to feel again. My best round was 9 pars in a row on 9 holes. That was 10 years ago. I didn't know how i was feeling this way. NOW i do thanks to you, Shawn. SERIOUSLY I want you to know that i really appreciate you guys. You have helped me find my feels again. So easy to be able to control the muscles that i fire, and at whatever pace or finess i want. Sorry for the long comment but Thank you, thank you, thank you for reals.❤🙏

Hello, Shawn. You stress the importance of allowing your arm-club unit to "fall" from the top of the backswing via gravity. It's somewhat perplexing and my brain does not compute in how to speed up "getting the (upper) body out of the way of the gravity induced swing arms" in the matter of how to obtain and generate more club head speed properly. I trust you can understand what I am asking. How can the arm-club unit generate more club head speed biomechanically when you are only allowing the weight of the arm-club unit to fall by only using gravity?
@golflessons
@golflessons 10 месяцев назад
@@HHHWLH it is called a human kinetic chain; as soon as the lead side grabs the ground to turn the body out of the way of the falling arms TOWARDS THE TARGET, it initiates a human reflex action that sling shots the arms past the body and the ensuing momentum is unstoppable! On our premium channel, we have 3 full series on this called “kinetic chain series”, Kinetic chain facilitation and engagement series”, the “arc blur unstoppable momentum series” and while you are at it, see the full “throwing series” IT SHAKES THE FOUNDATIONS OF SURFACE BODY PART POSITIONAL TEACHING.

Smartest video to date on how the body works. ALL sports are hip/pelvic driven! Great job explaining the fake notion of "shoulder turn". As is with much of golf instruction, people (not you!) will interpret what they see and hear and make it their own....even if it defies common sense and/or how our beautiful body works! Thank you!

Hey Shawn can you do a video on all the things that one must matchup in order for a strong grip to be successful. Wrist angles, feet alignment, swing path and release etc. I see little things that all three of you do differently when you setup.
@golflessons
@golflessons 10 месяцев назад
This is because we are have a different way to release the arm anatomy in the swing; and everyone differs there; and it will change over time; see “how to put the ball in the way of your swing shawn clement” which is the prediction process we use to feel that when we allow gravity to release us in the direction we want to start the ball, that the ball will start that way, curve in the air the way we want and be solidly struck without us interfering with the swing.

Is it OK for the rear leg to be straightened in the backswing?
@golflessons
@golflessons 10 месяцев назад
BIG TIME!! BOTH LEGS EXTEND UP INTO THE BACKSWING, THEN SQUAT DOWN TO COLLECT THE BALL FROM WHERE IT LIES IN THE DOWNSWING AND THEN EXTEND BACK UP INTO THE FINISH TO DELIVER THE BALL KNTO THE DIRECTION OF THE TARGET!! See “throw the club straight shawn clement” and an oldie but goodie called “create serious speed shawn clement” and then on our premium channel, you want to see these: -the throwing series -turbo charge lead hand and trail hand release -pumping ip the volume -Pumping up the swing -feet together back to feet apart -Kinetic chain facilitation and engagement series All of these show you how to do this WITHOUT THINKING

I am still struggling with my momentum, my go to seems to be to do everything except throw the club, I seem to still end up swinging at the ball more often than not. Every round I hit a couple shot that are crushed beyond my normal distances. Still working at it. This last round I experimented with an extremely closed face with my irons with varying success ( 1 of the most beautiful 7 irons ever!) . Even without the closed fact on my driver though I am still struggling with duck hooks. Oddly my 5 and 3 wood I am hitting very solid and straight and occasionally very long. not so with driver. Rambling a bit I guess, just hoping for a nugget?!?! Thanks for what you do.

Same boat here practicing the Clements method for about a year and a half. I had 2 rounds in March where everything clicked and it was magic, good and 'effortless' distances with straight ball flight or baby draw. Since then I'm about to take up duck hunting and quit golf, becasue everything is duck hooks. I need this to work because now I feel like I've lost my old grip/swing and can barely even hit the ball if I try to go back. Feel like I'm missing one tiny ingredient since it did work for those 2 rounds.
@pastorjason4337
@pastorjason4337 10 месяцев назад
I went to the range yesterday and had an awesome practice round. I found myself sticking with the very strong grip and more neutral to slightly open face on the driver. That seemed to do the trick for me. The only thing I will add is I really focused on making sure I got full wrist hing at the top. This seemed to make the difference whether the distance jumped or not. On irons I am most successful with strong grip and still closed or neutral if my hands are forward. Might be worth trying.@@grapeape00

Shawn I’ve used “get out of the way, get out of the way” successfully, especially when I feel my timing is off. Question: Can you get out of the way too far/too much, especially on the takeaway? How much is too much?
@golflessons
@golflessons 10 месяцев назад
EVERYTHING YOU DO MUST RELATE TO THE DIRECTION YOU WANT TO START THE BALL; too much or too little will be short or long of this direction! See on our premium channel: ‘how to match backswing to ball direction” as well as the “arc blur unstoppable momentum series”
@joe-jostar
@joe-jostar 10 месяцев назад
Do you have a video for hitting behind the ball? I have good weight shift and hips out the way. My head is ahead of the ball at impact, club naturally shallowed, yet I'm hitting behind the ball. Especially with longer irons.
@golflessons
@golflessons 10 месяцев назад
See “how to get behind the ball shawn clement” and “amazing drill to flush your irons shawn clement” When your head is in front of the ball, your ball is forced back in the stance and you are forced to REACH BACK AND HIT THE BALL QUICKLY BEFORE YOU MISS IT!!
