Three years later and I come back to this page asking you one simple question : Will we ever get anymore Walkure/Macross Delta covers ;-; I'd even be willing to write lyrics for Someone if they so wanted to cover it. A while back I did a TV size verion of the first opening.
Yay, was waiting to comment once you released this. I voted for this song since I wanted to hear you bring out your softer vocals since it's a more emotional song. I even got a bit feels haha. I love when you sing energetic and hype songs, but for me, I really like hearing you sing in ballad 😁 Make sure you rest and take care of yourself ~
I love your covers. I do covers too and was wondering if you could give me some advice on mixing vocals. After using compression, eq, de esser, etc. my vocals still seem to sound a little too dry. I've experimented with reverb and don't want the muddiness of it to wash everything put but using a little bit isn't enough either. Are there any specific plugins or tips in general you could share? I'd appreciate any advice you could give :D.
Oh gosh I feel like I’m not the best person to ask - I usually throw random plugins on until it sounds passable. If it helps, I use Adobe Audition to mix? Otherwise, there’s lots of great advice online that I’d suggest looking into ^^ Good luck with your covers!
@@poopturds7178 Thank you for your advice, I use Adobe Audition to mix too but after watching a lot of tutorials and doing a lot of things they still don't sound very good... My pitch is fine and everything but my vocals just sound so dry and unprofessional. Would you mind me asking what plugins you use? I'd really appreciate it. Sorry if I'm being a bother, it's just I've watched a lot of tutorials on mixing with little progress and want them to sound more professional.
