I appreciate the kind words my friend. Glad I got to be one of your 1st subs. Model on , ya magnificent model buildin bastard. 👍 Have a great week. Rommel's Rod's a great kit. Got on my shelf.
@@slowridemodelcars1687 thank you!! I agree, nice and simple and fun. That sums them up. I’m looking forward to the build. Something different. Thank you for watching!!
@@davidchin350 it looks like a fun one. I have glued the interior into the body and got the engine stuck together too. Going to get the main areas Black based now and go from there. Thank you for watching David!!
It's a cool build that deserves a diorama setting. Since you can now get other accessories in that scale. The kit was originally out in the late 60s, early 70s. I had one when I was a kid. The chance to rebuild it again has been novel and fun. Kinda wish they would've done two more kits for Montgomery and Patton. It would've been nice to see what the imaginations at Revell would have come up with! 🙂👍
@@donaldkroth2579 would’ve been cool if you could have had some skeletal forces from both sides. That’s for sure. A diorama would be fun. Maybe I’ll add that to the list to work on this winter. Thanks for watching!!
I've had the pleasure to meet Charlie a few times at Acme, super nice guy, great builder and friend Rommels Rod us such an iconic Tom Daniel kit, I've seen it built so many different ways at shows, it's going to be really cool and a lot of fun Kyle, 😎👍
@@ramblers69 that’s great!! There’s so many of you guys I’d love to g eat the chance to meet in person. Thanks for watching and I’m sure going to have fun with Rommel’s Rod
Great shouout to Charlie Mac! Hes a magnificent modeling bastard 🥃🍻. The Rommel Rod is a cool kit of Tom Daniels design, I have never built that kit but will have to get one for the stash. Anyway have a great week ahead Kyle.🍻👍🏻
@@gi_mechanicsscalemodeling Cliff, thank you for stopping by to watch. Rommels rod looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun. And I don’t think it’s too difficult to find with this relatively recent release. Thanks again and I hope your week is great.
Gotta love Tom Daniel's stuff. I'll be following and thanks for subscribing. Atlantis is repotting some Tom Daniel stuff. They will be bringing out the Pie Wagon soon.
@@thegluebombshow the TD stuff is always so fun. Thank you for dropping by to check it out. I actually love what Atlantis is doing. The Daniel stuff and the other old kits. Sure, a lot of the tooling they bought is a little rough but it’s fun to see those old kits pop out again.
@@JDsHouseofHobbies it looks like a blast! Be cool to see you build another with paint but I did like it without paint too. It’s molded in a decent North Africa color. Lol. Thanks for watching
@@bernadettegarbers9552 for me it depends on the project and the piece. Some things I paint on the frame. For this most of it will be the same color. Undercarriage, track wheels, body, etc so I’ll do a large amount of assembly and then paint it all. Appreciate you watching!!
