Hi Rajesh , I liked the way you explain. Thank you for sharing the knowledge for beginners. I have a query on when we select any value from the worksheet(heat map chart) the filter has to display. When we deselect the value the filter has to disappear from the dashboard using filter action
I have created two sheets/dashboards based on two different parameters one parameter in one sheet and other parameter in other sheet so now I want to get these two in single based on the parameter/filter selection that means if I select first parameter it has data related to that if change the second parameter it has to show that and without using sheet swap concept can I do this please help if possible
I have one more query....I want to hide filter for particular users in my dashboard and it should be visible only to 2 user groups present on tableau server
That's a nice way. I tried to do this same thing for a Date type filter (with relative dates), but since there is no 'Only Relevant Values' options in the filter options, this doesn't quite work. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.
Hi Rajesh, liked your way of explaining thing. I too have one query. is there any way to use reset action to make dashboard blank that is all the filters should be uncheck. As per tableau functionality when I click reset, all filter values are selected and all data is shown in the view
If you followed all the steps in the order that is explained you should get it. Also filter Boolean is one important step and if that is done carefully and title of the sheet is hidden, you should be able to get it
