Adam shows off an incredible replica of the Wheems Fix-It robot from Batteries Not Included, made by prop builder Jason Slepicka. It's been a long journey getting this build to the cave, as Jason originally sent it over a year ago but it arrived damaged in shipping. Beyond its perfect aesthetics, we show off the wonderful functionality that Jason has put into his build that gives his Wheems the same charm as the adorable baby robot from the 1987 film.
Thanks to Jason for sending this beautiful replica! You can find his project on TheRPF at: www.therpf.com...

One of the best movies I watched when a teenager in the 80's. The little Weems were so dang cute. My favorite character from the movie however was the soft hearted former boxing champion who lovingly cared for the little weem who came out not moving when it was created and speaking "Batteries not included."

Then, I recently watched it again some thirty years later, and I hated it. I thought it was the most cookie cutter of a movie with the same old tropes brought out, and nothing original. It was just a story of helpful elves, just this time with robots, and in the stereotypical slums. I still think they are cute though.
