@but why have to strongly disagree. What is wrong with bands like halestorm? A woman can lead rock just the same. Just depends on the song. While there are songs where a man's voice is required, some actually fit better with a woman's voice.

@@RealJoux It is autotuned. If she just modulated the tone with her own voice, it would sound different, since the original studio version have that auto pitch too at the end. Doesnt really make her less of a great voice in this case.

I am in awe. Her tonality is unmatchable vs every cover heard so far. Cornell has a female match, finally, and she murders everyone with her lingering grunginess. At the end, when she flicks at her throat, to simulate a vocoder/autotune effect just like Chris did - that right there was the icing on the cake.

Superb instrumentals all the way around, not least of which was the voice. Whoever is mixing this deserves kudos, too; the levels are superb, in my BT earbuds in a quiet room. I can parse the lyrics but the brass notes are crisp. Also? Big thumbs up for the video crew and video editor for mixing a top-shelf video of good music being performed and recorded live. This was an A-list group of performers, documented by gifted technicians. And my non-contributing ass gets to enjoy it for free as I sit on the couch slurping coffee. We live in amazing times.
