When he asked her if there were any roles she wanted to play....I immediately yelled ELPHABA!!!!! I don't know why but I NEED her to play Elphie!!!! I need her in Wicked!!!! I think that she is perfect and would bring something AMAZING to the role!!! Plus her voice would blow the roof off that score!!! I don't care if I'm the only one who wants this...I want it to happen!!! So...yeah!!!
No I take that back. She isn't perfect, and that is why I love her. She is honest, funny, quirky, and kind. She is an individual. She is herself. She is such an amazing person and performer.
If Sutton (today) had told younger Sutton to quiet down, she would never have made it. It was EXACTLY that excess energy that got her the role of Millie, and all the subsequent roles. That’s who she IS! Hon stage, at least).
I love her bank teller story, or what she could of wanted to be if she wasn't on Broadway. She really is a natural born story teller. That tube action she did was so funny. By the way....we are still waiting for those home videos of young Sutton and Hunter Foster.
Sutton seems a bit more subdued in this interview than in past sessions. I wonder if she was tired, or maybe even it's just her getting older and more experienced. Wontorek seems to touch on this somewhat when he remarks that she seems to be attending to herself more of late.
