It's rare for me to glom on to a plant host - I feel like so many people are phoning it in, even when they're taking the time to make their own RU-vid channel; you, on the other hand, are not only entertaining and informative, but "Subscribe-worthy". Thanks for all you do. You're phenomenal. 900:1 Like/Dislike ratio proves it.
I am a perennial junkie, I want them all! I find the Autumn garden to be the most beautiful, the colors, the textures. Thanks for another inspirational video.
This comment section is unbelievable. Apparently no one knows that all these comments could put her down, no one think to support her. She looks great in her outfit and she needs to believe it.
I bought and planted a little bluestem/blue paradise this spring after seeing it on your youtube. It came as a little 4 inch plug in May. I planted it in a container on my condo roof deck-full sun. Now at the end of September it is more than 2 feet tall and about a foot diameter and looks gorgeous. I am thrilled. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it survives the washington DC winter. Thanks so much for the suggestion.
I love the dianthus. They grow so well in my area. I had some at my previous house. They attract butterflies and bees, they are so sweet. Love the new varieties!
I thought I had watched all of the older Garden Answer videos, now today for some reason, a bunch of them popped up in the video feed! Yay, that's a bonus I didn't expect! I love all of your videos, no matter when I find them.
Love the Appletini Heuchera and the Hoya. They are actually all beautiful plants, but I love plants with beautiful leaves that are full of color and variegation :)
I have just come in from my garden, after moving some of my plants around, because I open my garden for one day near the end of June , for charity, its only a small garden, but I love changing my plants around!! One day I might get it right!! I love the grasses you showed us TFS Mairead in Ireland
The Black Cherry Frost Dianthus was my favorite!! Another good fall plant is Japanese Spider Lilly. We bought a new house and six months later they started popping up all over the flower beds! And then left beautiful grassy leaves behind for the winter. (In Central Texas)
Love them all! What is Great about your presentations ..size , watering conditions and zone! I believe ..if you grow it , you know it and can speak with the familiarity of a friend, even though it is a plant!
Laura, you're always in tune with my thinking in my gardens! I suppose there's no mystery there - it's the time of year to consider what is still looking good! I love that 'Autumn Frost' hosta - mine is still looking perfect even this late, so I may be placing more around my other beds.
"Paint the town..." Totally agree, whaddah name! Plant has bubbly personality just like the bubbly personality of the video. One vote for "the pinks" selection highlighted here.
I love them all. I definitely love the Coral Bells as I have a lot in my garden already and they just perform great but I love the Evergreens and the grass is as well because of the different textures, can't wait for next spring!
Love all of them...but especially the rock and gro seadum. Prairie winds grass and the hosta plant I think. Lol and boxwood. Im def. Wanting these where I am. I think theyll work in NM 😛
Would I be cheating if I say all of them!! It's interesting how I'm watching your year old videos. I think some one or something is spying on me, cause I search in Google autumn plants and the next time I get on RU-vid, lo and behold your video pops up. Hahahaha. I always enjoy your videos and now you will be a new mom. I learn so much watching you landscape your beautiful gardens and it helps me. We moved to a three acre lot out in the middle of nowhere (says my two teens) mainly to garden and DH has his own detached garage to do his projects. I honestly have dreams of my entire property looking like yours. Not an easy goal here in Western PA. They frack in these parts, which means rocky hard clay. And then there is the deer and rabbit life. But little by little We improve the soil, learn how to coexist with the wildlife and DH has already made trails and walks for me. I wish you luck in your pregnancy and delivery. Love your new cat.
But if I had to pick one, it would be the prairie winds. We use ornamental grasses in the far end of our lot...it works with the farms around here and our split rail fence. It's amazing the beauty one can create using various grasses.
I love them all and i don't like red in the garden, its vulgar, but i love that appletini hucherella i would have to chop off the blooms. I have been testing some of your plantings and projects in my Southern Garden/Farm in NC, will let you know how they do. The Bunny topiary and hardy semps are being tested now.
I'd love to plant the heuchera, huecherella, both dianthus, the veronica and both grasses. If i had to pick only one of the plants, I'd go for 3 of the Rock 'N Grow 'Maestro' seems! I feel the need to plant lots and lots more perennials! Lol 💜
I have been watching your videos for a while and you have done really pretty stuff with Heucheras. This whole summer I went out and bought a ton a of different colors and planted them. Unfortunately I have some sort of beetle that also loves them and they all got eaten.
Can I have a first and a second choice? Pretty please? I'd choose for number 1 the Sedum. I've never seen this one before and I love it. Wish I had a dozen. Of course my beds aren't big enough for a dozen but I can dream can't I? Choice number 2 would be both the red and the pink Dianthus. Okay. I know that's two but Dianthus are plants that just keep giving if trimmed back a little. I have some that are now in their 4th season and still going strong. I love your videos and feel cheated if I don't get to watch at least one a day. Thank you for what you do. You are such an encourager.
Could you do a video about wintering, cutting, trimming, covering certain outdoor plants. I have hydrangeas, peonies, bleeding hearts, roses, salvias and more but too many to list. But I live in CT zone 7b hardiness. If you could give me any advice, it would be great. For some reason a lot of my plants didn't bloom this season.
I love them all!!! Thank you for helping me. Why don't you come on over to Muskogee, Oklahoma and transform my front yard? We could make all my neighbors and friends envious. Lol No, really.
Fell hard for heuchera ever since I first started watching your videos, especially those with that silver highlighting. Terra Nova managed to export some here to Australia before we banned imports on plants, and the Sugar Plum and Georgia Peach I have are just so happy making. That Little Bluestem though. Gracious.
I love everything about your channel and your videos put a smile on my face. Hostas are my favorite always but that dianthus was beautiful! I just bought 3 arborvitae for a little corner privacy. Wanted to know what advise you could give me on making sure they really succeed.
