"Genkai Lovers" is played during the Show-Ya medley at the end of the 2nd half of Naon no Yaon. The Princess Princess medley is at the end of the 1st half of the show.

@@otobokegaijin6218 Perhaps I or others have got confused, as I've seen it referred to as the Princess Medley (compared to Guitar Girls medley) where the singers from various bands sing the medley of songs from Show-Ya (including this song) - as well as the medley for Princess Princess

@@homegnome2429 The usual practice at Naon no Yaon is for the bands to play in the first half, followed by the (band) Princess Princess medley with the various 1st-half band vocalists (such as Angie of Gacharic Spin and Mayu of Nemophila) participating; the second half is the solo vocalists, with backing bands comprising session musicians hired for the occasion mixed and matched with the members of the 1st-half bands, followed by the Show-Ya medley and then the grand finale (the song "Rock Love", with everyone onstage). There will be exceptions sometimes, and also add-ons each year such as the "Guitar Girls Collection", the Yoyoka-vs.-Tamu drum battle, special medleys. "Genkai Lovers" is usually part of Show-Ya's set at the end of the show. But maybe you're referring specifically to the 2022 NnY, in which "Genkai Lovers" was sung by what were billed as the Five 歌姫-meaning "Divas", or literally "Song Princesses"-the solo vocalists featured in the second half (one of them actually being Keiko Terada of Show-Ya). That was followed by the usual Show-Ya set, but with "Genkai Lovers" reprised in its "Battle Orchestra" version.

They have newer live videos with this song.. I really like their latest album and the song Eye to eye is my fav on that record. There is a music video of the song from them... These ladies can still rock! 60+ Yo!!!

Good song and review. At the start I thought I was hearing an Iron Maiden cover. I really need to check out more of this band, I enjoyed what few songs I have heard so far.

The O.G. Japanese girl metal band - good to have them back on the channel! \m/😈\m/ Yep this song is definitely recognisable - it's one of their popular ones. I expect you will find many covers of it smb always picks the right stuff :) PS: what do you mean you wish it was louder? Reach out and grab your VOLUME control - we didn't used to have to over-compress waveforms into sausages back in the day, surprised to hear that from you ;)
