Hi Carol Astrid Amber Arnold. Carol, I heard a knock on my window & you wouldn't believe it, there was Adam! After I fed him & gave him an aunty talk too with a hug of course, I sent him home in the super sonic plane (lol) did he arrive safely? You did good with your fabric & trims. Can't wait to see what you do with the paper cd envelopes. Hope a video comes out if that?☺️💜. Arnt vintage books delicious, I'm a sucker for them. Thank yoy for your show & tell. Take care & sending you encouragement to start your nephew's journals when you're ready. When you start it'll come together. It's a great idea use the binders. Sort what papers/materials for the pages then next what to do on the pages. I believe in you & perhaps the grief will be a little softer & the great memories will help in comforting you as you start to be creative 💜🙏🏻.
You are such a blessing Susanne!!!! Thank you for your kind words about my nephew, my grief and for the encouragement! I feel like you all have been on this journey with me and I will share the journey with you! NEWS FLASH!!!! Adam just arrived home! After reading your note, I went to the front door and there he was - with his tail tucked and his head hanging. He's home safely! Thanks for sending him back home!
What a great haul! Love the fabric and the trim. I am absolutely interested in fabric scrap and trim scrap - fabric in general right now, I’m starting sewing lessons this week and before I tackle paper I’d like to try sewing on fabric. I’m sorry to hear of your nephews passing. A journal will be a keepsake for his family that will be an absolute treasure and I love the idea of a binder journal for it. Let me know how to get ahold of you so we might discuss some fabric. Thanks, teri
Thank you Teri! I'm loving fabric right now too!!! Thank you for your kind words. It's hard to believe it's been a year. I also believe I needed that time and hopefully I can now start on the journals for the family.
That naughty Adam! Good thing Susanne sent him home for you! I have the same issue with pages being sideways versus up and down. I'm still working on getting used to it.
