A very talented actor who's able to communicate every subtle nuance of emotion! You should watch Empress Ki although the emperor he played was depicted as an unfavorable weakling and jealous freak. I started noticing him in EK and followed him to Healer. Finally the writer/PD let him shine with irresistible charisma in Healer. JCW has become my new obsession and I can only google him to fill the void between each Healer episode. Hahah.....I'm so addicted....LOL....

haha. I would really love to watch empress ki but sad to say it has around 50 episodes and I don't have such vacant time to watch it. I just searched Ji chang wook during his empress ki days in youtube to aid my longing agony :)

IC Lene You may be interested in Healer BTS. Then you'll realize he actually did most of the action scenes himself, including rooftop parkour, jumping and tumbling over high rise building, spiderman wall crawling, the fascinating gymnastic bar fighting at the end of ep 2 (?), and of course all the martial arts. In an interview, Healer's renowned action director praised him a lot for his talent compared with other action actors. But he's too humble to gather all the attention around himself. Instead, he gives all the credits to his double. Ppl may mistakenly believe stunt doubles did those action scenes for him because of that. Knowing him doing those wired high-risk action himself, my obsession with him is now beyond remedy. LOL....

@Amina Khatun i disagree. I loed k2 but it woul'e been better if they had kept to the political/action drama instead throwing in that weird omance which basically ruin most of the second part

gesyl tapayan I've been waiting for the same too. #Changmincouple drives me crazy. They have such a different chemistry together. My lord. I've been trying hard to find out people who can get together and ask the producers for season 2. I want them to work together so bad. 😭😭

exactly my condition :D i just thought of watching the very first episode just to give it a try .. and that first one made me watch 8 more and now i just cant wait to watch the rest episodes !! its so hard to wait ....

sa dia Same, I just wanted to see what it was about and now I'm hooked. I can't remember the last time I obsessed over a drama like this. I am still waiting for an English sub of episode 10. I have been refreshing the page all day. I am holding myself back from reading the recap on DramaBeans.

actually i watch completed dramas ... first time watching a drama which is running ... so you know .. browsing internet whole day for upcomming tracks . stills, discussions etc etc .... lol .. cant believe now a days i watch kdrama live without subtitles :P healer is making me insaneeeeeeeeeee :

They're totally different. There's just action scenes that may remind you of Shitty Hunter, but the action scenes, acting and romance are 10 times better in Healer

Jonida Sanço better? maybe for you, not for me, specially the acting & the action, in city hunter the action scene were done by the actor himself with no stunt even the high jumps, in healer, the actor left 75% of the action to his stunt doubles, & the acting is def not at all better lol

kari MinHo You know that's not true right? JCW did most of the stunts himself but he was humble so he gave his stunt double the credit

kari MinHo Ji Chang Wook did some of his stunts himself and the dangerous ones were left to the stuntman. This usually is done in all movies, series to protect the actor, because the actor holds the face. If the stuntman is temporarily injured he can be replaced, because he doesn't show his face on the show/movie, and is not the one selling the tickets, ratings. Also there's nothing wrong with a stuntman doing some of the action sequence since it only increases the level of action we get to see on screen. As for acting, I like Lee Min Ho most of the time, but there's a level of sensibility, humor that Ji Chang Wook has brought to Healer, that is absolutely brilliant. I argue the same about Park Min Young, she's so much better than Han Ye Seul. and I wonder how in the world I never knew about her before this show. And lastly what's more important, the story line. Healer is much more compelling, the way it blends the past with the present, the way it avoids most cliches and doesn't let mere misunderstandings that other dramas use to separate the characters and create unnecessary conflict, and character development is really amazing. The psychology of these characters who have lived through abandonment and find solace on each other is also written and played so beautifully. I don't think the percentage of stunts done by an actor is what defines the quality of a show, even though we don't really know how much JCW and how much LMH actually did.

Jonida Sanço you are so wise, i agree with you. I think healer is the best because the drama really brightened my monday and tuesday. Just like the actors said, healer drama bring peace and joyful in our mind and heart and all the emotions blend in one 😃
