Nice to see that they put more lights in the arcade area. Last time I was there it was really dark and also very empty. I think no one was in there because it is not well known that the Showboat has an arcade inside now. In fact watching one of your videos is how I first discovered that there was one in the Showboat. They also have a lot of the old games which I loved playing back in the day. Hopefully with the water park now more people will realize that there is this amazing video arcade inside the Showboat. Very big area with lots and lots of games to play. The Island Bar looks great too although when I was there didn't seem open but maybe that was because it was early in the day and on a weekday. Thanks for showing the sometimes forgotten Showboat as it is now. I am not sure why they shut down the Showboat Casino as it seemed like it was very popular especially with House of Blues being part of the Showboat. Just glad they didn't knock it down and found a way to keep it open and a place for families to enjoy as well.

AC is so up and coming for Families. So many attractions and things to do for kids. Truthfully, i rarely visit the casino because there is so much to do. I believe they will be opening the Aquarium this Summer
Another great video! Not sure if you've heard or not...Showboat just hired a former executive of Hard Rock AC and of Caesars/Station Casinos in Vegas as thier new GM. The deed restriction Caesars placed on Showboat expires this November. The rumor is that Showboat is going to be a casino again. It will be interesting to see what the next few months bring!
Ocean is my Hotel of choice. Actually, going there Easter weekend. I was there with 40 friends and relatives a month ago and a lot of them stayed at Showboat and were very disappointed with the noise, smell and not clean. Showboat definitely has the best attractions for kids, but they need to invest in their rooms.
We take our kids to AC all the time!.. our spot is Borgata. Traveling this wknd and going to check out the waterpark. Hopefully it's not over crowded.. do you recommend for 4 and 6 year olds?.. they both swim
Hello! I’m sure they will love it..it may not be the best value some of the slides will be too big for them but there will be enough to do. The resort itself is so much fun feels like being in a amusement park. Have a great time 😊
The Family pool is in the Coastal Tower. There is a small sign on the bottom floor by the Coastal Tower elevators telling you what floor that the pool is on
Visiting Atlantic City when you were a kid, do you find you're a bigger gambler because of it? Or do you-well, how much do you gamble on a regular trip to a casino?
No I think I’m the most conservative gambler in my whole family! But I go a lot so I have to budget myself. I usually take 50 to the casino if I loose it I leave. If they let me win a little I’ll play still conservatively til I loose that. If I’m hitting I will up my bet. Sometimes max. I only do that with the casinos money tho. I like to bet enough to keep my free room offers lol 😂 it is exciting tho playing a larger bet. I never received a hand pay yet. Hopefully someday!
