The C3 Vette is still No 1 sports car . The 82 with modified brakes and suspension is and will always be the ultimate rod. I'm 75 and still married to my 82 Collector Edition, together forever. ❤. 🤩

Full frame car, independent rear suspension, double wishbone up front, and 4 wheel disc brakes -all in a cheap classic corvette. The performance offered in these vintage cars is super overlooked.

Luv this mod...really looks good...great overall vision. C3's are really space constrained on the inside...i doubt this big guy would fit

At 62, I finally own an 82 L83/ 24/26 coded C3, and consider the 80-82 the best looking of all C3s, and also the 3rd lowest production. (71&73 others) I am just starting to research the LS conversion vs the 383. I heard you indicate that GM makes a basic LS3 plug and play kit that bolts right in a C3. Where can I find more information on this kit? PS- Love still seeing the side pipe bolt holes in all C3s, it is a sexy reminder.

why are they not making plug in crate motors for the C4 corvettes? First generation C4's with the L98 ( the ladder was easier coming with the LT1) What a market to go after but only one place has say the adjustable motor mounts but nothing else? I would have dropped this in ages ago if there was some wiring and conversion.

I've always felt the C3 was the pinnacle of Corvette styling. The C1 was a game changer, the C2 is stunning in its own right, but the C3 just has so many terrific curves and lines that flow into each other with such harmony...every corvette since just hasn't had that specialness in their design. The only problem with it was GM's build quality in the era, which was atrocious, and the interior, which is actually kind of insulting, even for the 70s/80s.

I used to think green was THE most putrid color you could put on any vehicle, and now some of my all time favorite, lust-over cars are some shade of green. I remember when this one first came in. I shouldn't have taken so damn long thinking about it and just pulled the trigger. I hope the new owner is enjoying the hell out of this beauty.

Hold on. You said the C3 was the Vette with the most displacement AND it was throughout its entire run?? To my knowledge, the last several years of production the one and only engine option available was the 350. All I ever remember in the 80, 81 & 82 model years was the 350 and I think 78 & 79 that was the only option as well. 68 through 77, best I remember, had multiple options but 78 to 82 was just the one. Or am I mistaken?

1980 seen just over 3500 California spec cars built with 305 engines. 74 was the last RPO engine car based on cubic inches.
