I think what I'm seeing is, the music labels invest 100% of their song-writing, production budget, etc...in the "sure thing." So, artists who get a luke warm reception at debut just never recieve much of an investment. The songs SNSD, EXID, AOA, and so on have done this past 11/2 years would have been mega hits no matter who did them. the songs were just that good, but the labels gave them to proven winners anyway. KPOP must be a saturated market where the competition is FIERCE!
+Yo Arin I personally think the lead character also important in the group. They can give support to main vocal or rapper right? If you think it positively
Just before the KPOP era, most of the music most of the time was "one-hit-wonders." At least in America. Now, well into the KPOP era, the power songs that are always front and center usually feature the groups that already have the big image. the industry is getting reluctant to risk a big investment on anything but it's A-listers.
