Great video, I fitted my toilet/shower same way as yours. Didn't want to cut through main struts running along bottom of van walls. love what you did with shower door, got me thinking bout changing mine now though. Have you heard of a SOG toilet vent. I fitted one, helps stop smells and you can use normal loo paper without chemicals. Thanks for time and effort with your video's 👍🚐
hi mate i have brought the same toilet as yours. did you just run it off a pressured system? so basically a cold feed coming from your tank and pump? thanks
Hi Luke yes exactly that. It has a little blue button for water but rarely use it and try our best to aim as accurately as possible but use it on occasions. Good luck
How does that door hold up when you are driving? Does it rattle or anything? Good detailed videos! I'll definitely be using them to help my build. Thanks.
Holds up excellent, had 0 problem. The shower has rubber stops from when it was fitted in a house and they work the same in the van. You have to get your measurements bang on so measure twice and cut once as I can't imagine the doors are too easy to come by. Good Luck
Hi, Great Video thank you. Are you not worried that water will get through the crack between the toilet and the shower tray? Looks like water would go straight on to the floor.
I just got a new caravan and it’s doesn’t come with a bathroom so I am trying to find this toliet and all the bathroom items I need to fit a bathroom may I ask where did you get your toliet from
Does this toilet have a vent or anything? I have purchased one for my cargo trailer/toyhauler conversion, and want to put it against an interior wall as you did here. Wondering if that’s been an issue at all? Any smells, etc inside the van?
Hi Jeff. It has a 12v roof extractor yes and had 0 problems with damp etc. We would use a rubber blade or archer machine to dry the walls for the most part and then use our towels to clean the chrome after we had a wash to stop limescale build up and scarmy marks.
That is a shower plug drain 25mm. can be bought from most camper van conversion shops online. You can get them straight or with and elbow kick on the end
@@ScottAndJen yer that sthe one I mean :) maybe i'm over thinking but you drilled 38mm from the top and this went all the way through the van floor? But the waste/drain outlet is much thinner at the bottom so is there a space where water can get up into the flooring or did you seal off somehow? Cheers :)
From a family member. Its a scrap yard, eBay or free cycle job. it was nothing flash to look at when i got it. My mate sprayed it up to cover scratches before I fitted
