The euthanasia plan would not be fair to the Eldians living now since they are not to blame for what was done centuries earlier by their ancestors. this is where Zeke goes wrong, with the wrong mentality that Marley's people instilled in him he blames all Eldians for things they did not do. Spoiler! Another option would have been to use the power of the founder to keep the world away until they were made to realise that they were no danger to them, unless they attacked them of course. But even then it wouldn't have been right for the Eldians in the end, because they would then have had to keep passing on the titans by eating each other in order to protect themselves from the world. That's why I think Eren then does what he does... because the only solution is to think only of the good of his own people, there is no right solution for both sides. Because they on the island are too technologically backward compared to the rest of the world and as a result they couldn't stop the rest of the world from attacking them without the power of the titans. 😓
