It's the same in Poland. "I'll just go have a little talk and then we can go get ice cream." 5 hours later we're just leaving and all the ice cream shops are closed. Thank fucking god that I'm an adult now and can buy my own ice cream. The problem is that I'm saving up for a mortgage deposit and can't even afford ice cream without going a little over budget. Fuck both childhood and adulthood.

@@aegyokittysenpai3798 She stopped having fun making videos because of a multitude of things piling up, but mostly I believe it was the constant twitter cancel losers trying to find any reason to cancel anyone popular and they sure tried with Jenna, and Jenna being the absolute purest of people felt bad about what they tried to cancel her for and decided to stop making videos for the foreseeable future. One of the notable 'points' twitter made was that she did blackface in a video where she just has a really really bad spray tan. She apologized for this. That's how pure of a person she is.

9:38 I grew up in a Poland and then in America, but whenever I could visit my grandparents in their little town, this would exactly happen! There are not many adults around my area of the town because most of them left somewhere for a better life. The aged men in the town would come over for some kind of repair of a machine, like a fridge, washing machine... (My grandpa was a repair man) They would come inside for a cakes, sausages, and tea or coffee. They would stay for more then 3 hours. I would hear them talking about building, news and sometimes sports. That's all. That is ligit all. But all the aged women were the polar opposite. They would be coming over as a friend but they would only stay for like around 10 minutes. They always had to "Feed the animals" "Water the crops" "Make Dinner " which they did actually do because people in our town don't lie at all and are hardworking even over the age of 60 or so! The Irish humor bit was interesting. It reflects a lot of our church-goin', God-fearin' mothers down here in the south of the States: We kids are running around the parking lot while Mamma's still chatting with one of her church friends for at _least_ an hour after service is up. Then there's also the one where we visit a relative or a friend of the family, and we keep getting closer and closer to the car, but the conversation keeps pausing: In the living room, at the door, outside on the porch, halfway down the stoop. . . . The specific conversations and circumstances are a little different, but it's all the same. XD

The Irish mammy thing isn't only an Irish thing, my grandmother will try to take me grocery shopping and it's only for maybe 2 things and she'll talk to one of her friends for 1-2 hours and we end up being there longer than the few minutes needed
We have a similar joke to the just 5 minute irish mothers, in the south U.S. I live in Alabama and it wasn't uncommon when it was "time for visitors to leave," there'd be a solid half an hour before everyone made it to the front door and another half hour of talking next to the door.. and then another 10 minutes talking outside before getting in the car and driving off.
For the edible video, it’s very accurate my dad ate an entire edible because it wasn’t ‘strong enough’ after half, and he was hiding under the blankets because he was so paranoid.
I only use TikTok to upload and I don't watch any content on there, so every time I open it I'm greeted by a nearly naked attractive person doing absolutely nothing in particular... Usually jiggling something. Sometimes it's a cute dog video, but usually it's jiggling.
Its because usually, those are the top videos, so you have the option to put "Im not interested" or keep scrolling, if you watch them, more and more will appear to the point of basically porn, you can search the stuff that interests you so more sugestions of the thing you searched appear, Also, because of that, I hate tik tok, its mostly naked or mid naked females, and its so awful
I'm coming back to this video to say this is where I first saw Peteyusa and I then went and followed him on tiktok - then about 3 weeks ago I found out he's also a musician that makes some of the most personally touching songs I've heard in a long time. I'm still trying to reconcile the stark contrast between his absurdist tiktok sketch humour and his music that makes me ugly cry, it's incredible
