When you look at people jumping in the olympics they never have the reins that tight when your constantly forcing there head down how are they supposed to jump properly

Guys, it's not Rollkur! If you look closely the horses lift their heads when they jump and don't keep them tucked in at all times! I may be wrong but I really don't think these horses have had their necks forced into rollkur I just think they are over-bending, my horses can do that too but it's just the way their old owners trained them, maybe it is the same with these horses. Not rollkur, just that they are over-bending.

guys these are expensive horses, he knows what he's doing and i'm sure they're perfectly comfortable and are treated amazingly well

Really amazing horse and rider. The only thing that bothered me was that he was over-flexing his horse's neck. That's not natural and it's too much bend. By that point the rounding is useless.

When he is seen over bending the horses neck,it's not painful,it also shows how flexible showjumpers are as pretty much all dressage horses are so wooden and have so much muscle on their neck they can't do that!why would you question someone like Tim stockdale?😂reti

What type of horses are these? And how tall are they?

Oh look this one has nose bands to stop them from being able to open their mouths to relieve the pain from the bit. And not to mention that over flexion. Sure that's great for the horses spine and poll. Very classy.

I think you mean a flash...

The horses are holding their own heads. The is not restricting them at all! It's clear to see the horses can lift their heads to become perfectly in an outline but THEY are choosing to hold their heads like that.

They are not in a correct frame. Nothing about theses horses shows that they are comfortable: constantly opening their mouth to escape bit pressure, not swinging enough from the hind end, and holding their head in this position (which is broken in the third and BTV) to escape more pressure and discomfort.

You know how you can get even more leverage on the horses mouth? Hook up the reins to a pulley! Seeing that horse trying to relieve the pressure from that massive machine in its mouth by jiggling its head in vain makes me cringe.

I'm not claiming to know as much as Tim but what I do know is yous are all over reacting. These horses are like springs, that have to jump 1.60m+ so they have to be compact so that they can creat the impulsive to get over the jump and for whoever said that the noseband was restricting the horses mouth?? It's the flash that prevents them from opening their mouth and they only wear them if they put their younger over the bit which is dangerous so...

why is he flexing the poor guy all the time when he is in a steady canter? :(
@silverkitty2503
@silverkitty2503 5 лет назад
its not over flexed ...its to encourage the horse to engage from behind rather than front ending ..plus maybe they mark on form

Melania MoneyPenny it is over flexed the horses nose is almost touching its chest
