Oh My Word! This video is exactly what I needed for inspiration as I am making a transition from photography into film. Life as a creative in the Caribbean (Barbados to be more specific) isn't easy, particularly in fashion, but I must admit the evolution or transition from photography to video is absolutely necessary. Thank you for the reminder, the the proclamation and the prophecy. Keep up the good work. By the way that layout with the tea-cup - to spectacles is quite neat and has a lot of impact. And I love the finish of the black and white with the side lighting. EXCELLENT!
I love ShowStudio - I was suggested to watch it by an Australian fashion photographer Peter Coulson, who mentioned he watched these live streams on a constant basis. I'm an aspiring artist and better understanding people who I find inspirational and how they work behind the scenes really is helpful. As Nick mentions, the artist becomes more engaging and more real - the art can be appreciated more because it's not just a beautiful picture that somehow was created, it was painstakingly adjusted over hours and hours of work for a continuous amount of days on end.
every designer needs to hear what he's saying because its so crucial to have your designs shown in motion. We help brands develop custom tailored music scores for their fashion films and can't stress how impacting these films are. Let us help you whatever your budget is and create a music score for your brand.
I saw this video in a festival here in Brazil some years ago, I was only photographing stills and hating the trend towards video at that time, until I watched this. The day after I was shooting video :D
I just want to listen to him talk forever. But my question is, will the magazine evolve/adapt to fashion film by somehow making the pages digital and able to display film? Or will fashion film bring the demise of the magazine if the magazine is ruled by fashion photography?
