19:00 is some of the best late game PvZ I've seen. Toss was able to keep Zerg from deathballing (which is usually the death knell for toss IMO), for a more dynamic and action packed game! Great performance from both players, showing why they are the best.
Maybe you are confusing between "master class" and "masterclass"? The two word version means master level, in this case below GM. The one word version means "a class taught by an expert to mid/high level students", in this case Showtime showing the viewers how to play a great PvZ lategame.
Why don't pros build 1 phoenix + 2 oracles instead of 3 oracles? The phoenix can force a pull back of the overlords which lets you rotate without being constantly scouted, and the oracles will one volley drones with 2 of them anyway, what utility does the third oracle add (aside obviously from defending against ling/roach aggression), asking for a friend.
If I recall, a few pros play oracle > void > oracle > oracle. The one that I can think of off the top of my head is Creator. The first oracle goes to harass, the void kills overlords in the middle of the map.
I think a third oracle really helps in deterring aggression coming across the map. A pheonix is not helpful at all if a roach attack happens. Secondly, pound for pound a single oracle is much more useful than a single Phoenix. Pressure on overlords is good but killing drones and scouting with revelation is much better generally for early game PvZ
3rd. Generally you take quite a bit of hull damage on your first oracle. Be it from sending it in alone before the second shows up or it was just the oracle that got pounded. A 3rd allows you 2 healthy oracles to harass and a 3rd to gaurd your 3rd base as the defences go up
reynor is actually a big fan of the phoenix+oracle play when he plays toss, and the other pros(like harstem) also say it is good, but for some reason most tosses just stick with the oracles.
Gamers could be scientists if they didn't spend all their time playing games. Einstein played very little Starcraft. It's a little known fact. Just look at Sam Bankman-Fried. He didn't have time to get out of bronze in League of Legends.
Great move by Reynor to lay an ambush of infestors, but I think he should have made the infested toss units kill eachother instead of attacking the mothership
22:56 finally a protoss who got it through their thiiiiiick skull to just MASS static on every defensive location and only take good trades or trades on top off static=best case; would love to see more Protoss use those static defence to supply an elite strike team off 10-20 supply to hold and pressure one point while the army is pushing another, ofc with static backup. seriously just a shield gen using its starting energy already paid for itself in ehp, so yer ^^ always have extra pylons for your defence, use the extras as labyrinth blockers and ehp for the defense and dont be that guy getting 500+ mineral depowered by 1-2 pylon snipes ;P every 3 zealot death without point is 2shieldbats 1 pylon. thats a TON off support, those 10 zealot throw away are a big defense point each time, so stop throwing zealot and start building statics
