Having watched some other content creators and having seen quite a few of these in battle I'm actually quite impressed that you never caught fire. Also pretty much all the ones I've seen in battle died pretty fast once they got spotted as they tried to use their dpm and got out alpha'd.

I think the bounty exhaust is more important so you can try to remain unspotted when shooting, so you can maximum your insane rate of fire. With low alpha tanks with high rates of fire and good base dispersion, the aiming device is a waste because of you miss an occasional shot, your not losing out in much damage, and you can shoot again 4 second later. But without great camo, you have to pull back for 10 seconds after every shot, which kills your DPM. Aiming device is much more important when you have a high alpha tank with a long reload, when if you miss a shot, you lose a lot of damage and have to wait a long time to shoot again. And if your reload is close to 10 seconds or longer, you don’t need great camo because if you get spotted after shooting, you just pull back and by the time you’re reloaded, you’re also unspotted.

Thanks for reviewing this one. I got it recently but the learning curve is pretty steep. (especially when you are used to heavy armoured TDs) I have mine setup with bond rammer, bounty Improved aiming and coated optics . Got my accuracy down to .24 and reload to 4.07 seconds. Armour is non-existent but that being said, I play it way too aggressive...

I put in mine standard improved aiming in the right slot, to reach 0.25 (without food). The difference in 0.2 of precission is great. I dont put improved rotation mechanism because the base dispersion values of gun in this TD are similar to a good medium, and the tank have a great base mobility too. This and the very short aim time makes innecesary in my opinion to put rotation mechanism, or at least makes more sense to put improved aiming. I put too standard optics, not binocular, because this TD with is low damage alpha needs to relocate or move constantly, more than a Skorpion or SU 130. Finally i put bond rammer, to increase DPM. I try some combinations of equipment and for me imporved aiming, optics and gun rammer are the most effective. Sorry for my enlish, i learn french in school (i'm an old man, at least for the standards gamers haha).

Thanks for this video. TD gameplay is not my favourite, but it's nice to see the positions you're taking here. I won't do the marathon for this tank, but it's nice to see what can be done using it.

I'm currently on level 39 of 40 so should have this today. Think I'm going to go with Rammer/Optics/Turbo for open maps, Rammer/Hardening/IRM for city maps. Fun thing will be trying different loadouts.

Everyone on reddit claimed before he even made it to the game that he gonna be way better than the Skorpion. Fact is that actual meta is about speed and alpha dmg. Theory is a thing. But on terrain I found the Skorp and SU 130 way more practical and enjoyable to play !

I definitely cant grind out the chapter of the battle pass for it because there are 3 days left and I have been working on the 3rd chapter. Do you think its worth it to spend the full amount required to just buy this tank outright?

From what I know that would be like 35-40€ in gold, wich is a normal amount for a premium but still a lot of money obv

I don’t think it’s worth to spend the full amount considering you can still get some discount even now. Just play for the daily missions then decide if you want to spend the money on it.

In my honest opinion, you're just playing this tank way too passively, in some of the first games it was clear pretty early on that your team will completely eat the enemy, in a situation like that you don't need your own hp, you just go with them and let them take the shots. I mean that's normal practice with tanks like Leo 1 too and it works pretty much the same from my experience. It will probably just take some getting used to

It's hard tank to play properly, ppl are tempted to use dpm (same as with autoloader syndrome) and are overly aggressive in general, resulting them in dying fast. If you play this thing properly and make use of HE, it's insane (honestly, HE should have 320-340 alpha with this pen and reload, not 420).

Exactlly, the dpm syndrome cause a lot of errors in battles. Im learning to play this TD; is not the same play style than Skorpion or SU-130.

i don't really understand the big hype on this tank. on paper it look's op but 90% of players will struggle to make the dpm work. another reason ist, i don't see a big difference to Kpz 07 RH and this tank isn't often seen in games nowadays. in my opinion skorpion g, su 130 pm and even amx cda 105 ist much stronger for most players.
