Lime Rock Park didn’t allow drifting for a while but we scumbagged them into letting us do it, and ended up turning it into an honest-to-goodness track day! @JimmyOakes brought his ’87 BMW 325e, we get Tony Angelo drifting again in the Kucklebusters e36, Hert does an EPIC run, and then the whole crew does TANDEMS! Plus Scotto shows up and drifts his new (to him) VW Golf Mk1. We play circus music for that part, it’s pretty good.

Hell yeah! Lime Rock is my home track, though I've since moved to Colorado. Last time I was there I ripped my red BRZ on the road course and embarrassed lots of much faster machinery. Seeing this brought back some great memories.

Wish I knew you guys were in CT, My shop is about 30 miles south of Lime Rock. The track you guys ran Ive raced Karts on, I also rode shotgun with a Skip Barber instructor while he drifted a lexus on it and also rode shotgun in spec class miatas on the main course. 3 wide into turn one is Insane.

Drifting is getting banned at so many racetracks! It sucks, but I kinda understand, blowing tires off rims and digging rims into the track, dipping tires off track and ripping up sod/digging ruts, destroying the kerbing, and literally ripping the pavement apart... It's by far the most fun motorsport to do, and by far the most fun to watch, though.

I got thrown out of Lime Rock for an exhaust that was too loud. It passed SCCA national specs and I've never been pulled over on the street, but Lime Rock gave me the boot. They're kind of a buzzkill
