Oroku Saki or otherwise known as the Shredder is depicted as the leader of the criminal organization known as the Foot Clan and serves as the main antagonist and archenemy of the Turtles and Splinter. There are many versions on the origin of the shredder but his desire to get rid of the turtles and his armour stay the same. His armour consists of blade-covered metal plaques on his shoulders, forearms, hands, and shins. He also tends to wear a metal helmet with a trident-shaped ornament on top, and a metal ninja style mask which covers his face, leaving only his eyes visible.
