Fun fact: The voice of Prince Charming, Rupert Everett originally tried for the role of Gaston in Disney's Beauty and the Beast but didn't get the role because he was told that he didn't sound arrogant enough. He kept that in mind when trying for the role of Prince Charming which he nailed.

Crazy how the sequel of movies always shine more than the original example: Spider-Man 2, The dark knight, Kung fu panda 2, Shrek 2, captain America the winter soldier, Dawn for the planet of the apes.

I wouldn't say "always" in fact is more common that the sequel is way worse: Batman & Robin, The Mask 2, Speed 2, Glass, Independence Day 2, Jurassic Park 2, Basic Instinct 2, Species 2 and all the others that came after that one, just to name a few, luckily there are sequels that are really good like the ones you mentioned and I would like to add Terminator 2 as well since it was way better than the first one.

In order of how good they are, 2, 1, 4 and 3. Shrek 3 was horrible. It had a few good parts but not enough to redeem itself. 4 was actually pretty good. Not as good as the first two but not bad.
