Fun fact: The song All Star was only a placeholder for test screenings until a new song could be found. But test audiences loved it, and the producers kept it in.
Gotta pay respects to the guy who made my childhood. To one of the very first songs I listened to, and in one of the very first movies I have ever watched. Thank you, Steve Harwell.

"All Star" By Smash Mouth Lyrics: Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb In the shape of an "L" on her forehead Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running Didn't make sense not to live for fun Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb So much to do so much to see So what's wrong with taking the back streets You'll never know if you don't go You'll never shine if you don't glow Hey now you're an All Star get your game on, go play Hey now you're a Rock Star get the show on get paid And all that glitters is gold Only shooting stars break the mold It's a cool place and they say it gets colder You're bundled up now but wait 'til you get older But the meteor men beg to differ Judging by the hole in the satellite picture The ice we skate is getting pretty thin The waters getting warm so you might as well swim My world's on fire how about yours That's the way I like it and I never get bored Chorus Chorus Somebody once asked could you spare some change for gas I need to get myself away from this place I said yep what a concept I could use a little fuel myself And we could all use a little change Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running Didn't make sense not to live for fun Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb So much to do so much to see So what's wrong with taking the back streets You'll never know if you don't go You'll never shine if you don't glow Chorus

Shrek: (Chuckles and rips a page out, then closes the book he was reading) Like that's ever gonna happen! Oh, what a load of... (Toilet flushes and as soon as he opens the outhouse, this song starts)
Marcou minha infância, assistia todo dia em 2008-2012 comendo melancia e melão com meu pai de manhã, com o hometeacher no alto com essa música no filme
@Wyatt W I completely lost track 🫠 I'd imagine that it's in the 4000-5000 range at this time. This comment is a decade old! I was around 15 or so when I posted this, so I had, roughly, 4-5 more years of being able to watch a bunch of movies before my schedule started filling up. When I turned 21, I started my own real estate company. I devoted most of my time to that over the years (which I'm now selling for around $3 million, and plan on running away to Asia to escape inflation here in the US). That didn't give me a bunch of time to watch movies. I got into streaming services around 21-22 (I got into it late), but didn't get to watch much because of my business. For me watching movies used to be am intentional act where I would sit down to watch a specific movie(s); i used to only watch movies on Blu-Ray/DVDs/on TV. Compare that to Netflix/Hulu/Amazon where you may not know what you want to watch, and find yourself having binge a whole series/season in a single day. That "ease of access" made me take movies for granted, in a way, which took away the motivation to write down everything I watched.
