Best Casino: Margaritaville.
It is the largest , has the newest games, and its not on a three story riverboat.
Best Hotel: Margaritaville.
The area still has not recovered from covid. You can tell most the the hotel casinos in the area are pretty run down and out dated. Local sources say since covid, things have not been the same. While Margaritaville is no Ritz Carlton, they have clean and comfortable rooms.
PROTIP: Only the (2 Queen rooms) have river views.
Best Food: Jimmys + 1801 Steakhouse. Both great fine dining options. We recommend both spots
Things to do: Bonnie and Clyde museum and death site are must see for any bonnie and clyde fans. The museum is located at there final stop, where they purchased two sandwiches minutes before being gunned down. The cafe there sells the same sandwiches they ordered!
Tid Bits: Blackjack you do have to pay a small fee for each hand. Craps is also a bit weird. Roulette appears normal. Drinks are free and the Staff members are amazing. If you are looking to film in the casinos there, the only ones that allowed it were the Penn Properties and you have to make arrangements with management prior to doing so. Security is a bit tough!
