This was such an incredible learning experience - thank you Shreyaji, Berklee, Berklee India Exchange (Annette, Clint and the rest of the team) for the opportunity 🙏🏼💜💝It really made an impact on me!
How detail she goes in.. How perfectly she teaches.. And how independently she says to sing! Such a charming personality you have Shreya! I am always in awe!
8:30 - 8:40. Damn!! I had goosebumps. I played that in repeat 3-4 times. So I had 4 goosebumps. That was seriously a fabulous version created in under 10 seconds. Just wow! Please take this version forward
Her advices are just simply superb. She knows how to advice without affecting the confident, motivation and feelings of each singers. I always know her as a singer but today I know she also a very good mentor.
wow after shreya told her she i really liked her husky kind of voice and the way she interpreted the song in her own style !! before it looked more of an immitation of original song but this sounds really great wow !! great teacher is queen shreya !
Shreya is such a serious musician, I did not know before. But she is such a considerate guide! Genres are the commitment a singer makes to. Underlying every genre is the basic sound Training in music. Tempo for pop music has to be rock solid.
I am convinced she is the best teacher one could have. Not forcing, or teaching a particular way of art...she is letting the artist have their own individuality ❤
Shreya just love you as a singer. Can hear you sing when the others are singing and the nuances of each song just pop up when others sing. No disrespect to the students who sang.
This video also opens the minds of the audience. At first, I wasn’t ready to accept anything in a different way than the original. But as Avanti went on to sing and Shreya guided, we could see the change and developed a taste for this style! Great experiment by Berkeley I feel!
that was such a great lesson, I wish I could learn music from her. I love soo much, every time I hear her voice, I just melt!! So lucky these guys are :)
OMGG❤️ This is just incredible so happy to see our queen #ShreyaGhoshal being so intense into every word & tune ohh god such a rare beautiful talent she is in this era of 🎵 Again a huge thank you to #BerkleecollegeOfMusic for sharing such wonderful precious sessions of Masterclass 😍 looking forward for upcoming videos #AlwaysAnSGian #HardcoreSGFan
I find it interesting that Shreya mentioned "thumri" in another video but describes Indian female voice here as thin! That's not how thumris were sung by Begum Akhtar and others. Lata's voice was an exception in the 50s. It became mainstreamed later.
Shreya ji, I love you and I love your voice and style… But as you are still following our bestest singer Lata ji… Now let other also sing in their own style… Now change is needed my sweetest lady Shreya ji 🙏🥰
