Rahul Deshpande and Mahesh kale Singing 'Kanada Raja Pandharicha'. Rahul deshpande is Grandson of Vasantrao Deshpande on who's name Music Festival Vasantotsav (just like Darbar Festival) is celebrated
Shreya Ghoshal is one of the finest we have seen in recent years..we adore her and her voice is the sweetest.. You are correct..at least her one song will be there in almost every movie gets released.. Thanks for reacting to song.
Bairi Piya from Devdas is - 1) the first recorded song of Shreya's musical career . 2) she won the National award for best Female Playback singer for this song. She also won a Filmfare the same year for the song Dola re Dola, other song from Devdas. But Filmfares like all other private awards are fake awards. No need to take them seriously. Not saying Dola Re Dola isn't good (It was and still is very popular actually, hence filmfare gave the award based on popularity), but Bairi Piya is even better. Shreya Ghoshal said in an interview that it was also the most difficult song that she sang in her career. PS- Also Bepanaah pyaar hai aaja from the movie Krishna Cottage is another very melodious song by Shreya.
A year ago - Korbin : I don't like songs and dancing in movies. Rick does I don't. A year of Bollywood later - also Korbin : Ole Ole Ole in an intro and Dola re Dola re during another video. And we're loving it especially the Korbinised lyrics.
React to Barso Re from the movie Guru, sung by Shreya Ghoshal, music by A. R. Rehmaan, choreographed by Saroj Khan, directed by Mani Ratnam and dance performed by Aishwarya Rai.
She has been honored by the United States state of Ohio, where Governor Ted Strickland declared 26 June 2010 as "Shreya Ghoshal Day". In April 2013, she was honoured in London by the selected members of House of Commons of the United Kingdom. She also featured five times in the Forbes list of the top 100 celebrities from India. In 2017, Ghoshal became the first Indian singer to have her wax figurine in Madame Tussauds Museum.
@Aritra Mukherjee most of indias bestees comes from kerala, and bangal...... K s chithra. K j yeshudas... Leading national award for play back singers...... Shreya goshal already got state award in Kerala.... Am a fan of sathyajithroy
@@Manu-lx6mv By the way all r Indians. Else debate will start here, about every famous singer caste n religion. Lata didi and Asha ji are Maharashtrian
@Aditya Gaja: All the names you mentioned are people from Southern Part of Karnataka - Tulu people they are mostly close in culture as of Kerala so basically all Indians should be equally proud

She had won a singing competition on TV when she was around 12. Never looked back. Sang for Devdas when she was 16. She's just blessed with a phenomenal voice and talent!
Rick you got intoxicated with her voice. Anybody would...just such a lovely song selected. She does sing in several other Indian languages started off in Hindi. Please do more of her songs 💕💕
@@atulya7845 hai man I've been watching them since the beginning but I swear I don't remember a Jack Sparrow reference.😅 Maybe my memory lol. Them and Jaby I watch a lot.
@@prameelad9054 ya of course I know that..but as it was a live performance, I was expecting her to sing a little longer.may be improvise a bit or add 1or 2 more songs..I was talking about this performance & not the original song🙂
The intro reminded me of a song actually, ‘aaja aaja main hoon pyaar tera’ you can react to it if you want. And also can you pls refer to Lata Mangeshkar as either ‘Latagi’ or ‘Lata didi’ she is in her 90’s.. please please
She is the one who dont need autotune where it is 100% same b/w her live performance and recorded song... Such an authentic original voice.. She Is lije Goddess SARASWATI...
She is the one who singer in India who sings on almost all film industries througout India and Loved equally by all the states and THE NO 1 SINGER IN ALL FILM INDUSTRY in this generation....
This song is so beautiful when you dive deep in to Indian tradition and the predicament in between engaged marriages, love stories and just generally more about emotions.
"We went from this transcedently beautiful line of floatation and then you dropped us into the sandpit." - Rick Segall, 2020 (Quotes of Upsetting Disconnections) 😂
True. Playback has been a separate vocation all along. In very early days before motion pictures (btw you are yet to watch Harishchandrachi Factory), there used to be musical plays (natya sangeet) where people used to sing their own songs (like broadway). Once motion pictures started the playback has been there pretty much since them. Also Lata has been singing since early 1940’s and not singing any more these days.

@@shraddhasawant6090 i m not comparing states madam. I m telling him that these all legends are voice of bengal as well as india. I m not one who believes in comparison. Because legends can't be compared on the name of states. #peace
I kept Shreya Ghosal songs to make my nephew sleep in the car coz he is not feeling well but don't want to sleep. Her voice is so soothing that he went to sleep in 5 mins, she's a saviour for me yesterday and you guys reacted to her today.😍😊
"amader boka boka protikriya" - wasn't expecting to see bangla to appear xD being bangladeshi I forget sometimes that a significant part of india speaks in bangla xD
