Works for me! If it did not work for you, you have to be calm and only consentrate at the verry middle of the spiral. don't do other things.. if your eyes get in like a trance, you are doing it *perfect*

It happens because the muscles in your eyes get so used to seeing the spinning lines, when you focus on another object your eyes don't adjust fast enough.

It work because of the way our eyes gather information. I believe the Term is motion aftereffect or the waterfall phenomenon. When you stare at a moving object like this spiral or a waterfall you eyes and brain tend to try to reverse the flow to focus on the moving object.The result of which is that when you look away you see the reverse. In this case the spiral is moving toward you so objects look like they are moving away.In the waterfall case objects tend to look like they are moving upward.

@WestpointGameplay they are actually two different videos. One makes objects appear to grow, this one makes them appear to shrink!

It's because when your eye is fixated at somethig for a long period of time, the "negative" is still imprinted for a few seconds....like when playinf guitar hero.a lot and then your walls move up when you look around. Since the spiral is unfolding and therefore looks to.be expanding, your eye then sees things folding or shrinking. And vice versa woth the spiral that 'closes' makes things expand.

The first time I did it t didn't work, then I did it again and it did! U just well when it staring before the swirl well umm when it appears look at t for a little bit then look at an object in the room then study it, then look back at te swirl, then look at the swirl again as if it eyes start to get dry then just keep your eyes squinted till ur done looking at the head shrink. I know that's kinda confusing, but that's how it worked for me.
