Building is the fastest way transporting supplies and base defence can do them all at once

big part of arma is landnav, but gps tablets that show your coordinates are nice

There are servers where it shows on map where you are but you get you berings pretty fast if you play enough

How do you even waist money? But seriously it's niche game, a testbed for arma 4, best you can do is to find a unit which plays in your region. Even in EU there is lack of some cool servers which are in NA region.

Select modded in the server browser filters, shit load of modded servers that are active

There's probably several mods being used. Reforger is pretty cool, when you join a modded server it will automatically download the required mods.

Unlike Arma 3, when you wake up the rifle is on the ground and you need to pick it back up. And AI like to hover over your unconscious body so switching to pistol when you wake up is usually a better chance at not ending up dead-dead.

Delete your mods and try to rejoin the server. It will redownload your mods and might fix your issue.
