im so lucky im on console, as the pain it takes to type has stopped me rage typing at people lol, or smashing my £160 controller... if it was my £10 mouse it would be screwed lol
I play as a wand staff healer and man that is one of the most annoying things to me. One or two people getting hit by fury attacks is no big deal but the ENTIRE team getting hit over and over ughhh I can only heal so much.

There has to be a reason to start learning and thats why the reward is also important. Thats why games are so addictive because there is all those small milestones to achieve when you get better and learn the game. But also i have to say that people are different, some just like to play for "fun" and some are there more for the learning. For example i have few friends that has 1000h of cs and never even tried to learn single flashbang or smoke. They are just playing for fun and they seem to like it that way. I am more "hc" gamer and sometimes i feel i cant even play anything just for fun. There needs to be something hard to learn and some goal that im going for.
If dungeon mobs dropped actual gear instead of just items like polished crystals. Doing dungeons just for “fun” could be worth it bc then there’s a chance I could make some lucent from whatever trash drops.
its true tho, one thing i like about games especially the new ones are i got to learn them and it's the best feeling to learn something that other people dont even know. knowledge is king and it also make you grow as a person. stagnant is boring
The problem with this one is the chain mech on it. Its a little janky and it doesnt always work. Some ppl zone out and dont jump right as it comes up or dont notice when they are marked which causes issues.
Cursed Wasteland is the hardest out of the lot we have. More wipes on that boss than any other. People say they know the mechanics then fail hard and it shows.
bro in that game u selling items for money its not pay to win if u can farm up lucents .. wtf bro i got myself over 20k lucents just from selling items on auction for lucent ... its up to u if u buy lucent as money or farm it :D u can buy just skins and lithograps .. idk who would buy 800 dollars weapon for ur gear ... i would not just streamers and people who got money i got same bis gear as people that buying it as money and still fucked them up in pvp and pve
@@vazeofficial441 We all know that, but for ''rich'' people they just go: Oh look at this, I can spend 120$ just for a piece, that is nice. Lets buy that, then complain about a game? Because its an MMORPG which ALWAYS has leveling innit. You cant buy happyness with money, happyness is created with love and patience, not complaints. Imagne iff a game like this would go like: ooh lets remove the leveling and give them a maxed out character and just mobs and dungeons to swipe with their credit card. Woohooo im rich! No.. They will lose their players, what is a player in a mmorpg you ask? Simple: PLAYER= YOU ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME. (To EARN that currency like you did) But do you complain? No? You just confirmed that it is possible to PLAY the game and still enjoy it because YOU made the currency without paying! Happy Days? Yes?
I’ve done this dungeon so many times as I want 4 purples from it, going up is so easy if you just angle it right, and as long as the Random’s grab chains after also
Read this noveL: MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary Guardian Its the best portrait of MMORPG game, I ever discovered. And I believe this is the future of MMO games
Albion actually have the knowledge thing. The only bad thing about Albion is that is full loot pvp and its focus is on and based on that and that only.
..Everyday I run level 50 dungeons randomly for at least 10x and objectively, boss-wise Cursed Wasteland is the hardest. Thats where most parties I encountered spend more time to clear
most fun in mmo I had was doing clown in lost ark but blind. Imo one of the things that kill fun in mmos is this need to just have guides for everything to min max, people are not playing the game they are just constantly following instructions at this point. People want to complete everything instantly to get rewarded exactly how shroud say at the start. Its not an easy problem to solve tho, that way games would take way more time with how they are currently designed
This comment section is proof of what's wrong with gaming now a days. Relax. It's a game. If hes a whale, he's a whale. He can spend his money how he want's. He's enjoying the game. Relax. You're not actually in game no one is dying. Have an actual life.
Yea, learning is fun, but than RU-vid comes along, and the learning is over because someone put up a 10-minute guide on a fight, so now if you don't watch it, people will flame you and not play with you. The internet has brought so many interesting things to people and knowledge, but it has also ruined so many things. When wow came out, guides and videos were practically non-existant, which was probably the last moment that a game was not min maxed by the player base.
The trend I hate with modern MMOs is the handholding that comes in the form of 'everything is on your map'. There's no real exploration anymore. Kind of goes with your comments about learning. There should be caves, dungeons, etc, that you need to wander around, spend time wandering... and, BOOM! Hey guys, I just found a cave! That doesn't happen anymore. And TnL is really horrible about that. As for controllers on console... I had to stop using KB/M on DDO due to arthritis, and luckily they had limited controller support built into that game (which is why I really don't get why they never ported it to console). So, I set to work configuring the hotkeys for a controller. This is a game that utilizes several bars or hotkeys (each bar having 10 spots, and people would have 4+ bars). I wasn't able to get that level of things, but I got it configured for 4 bars of 8 hotkeys. That leagues ahead of what MMOs on console give us. Like this game only has 12 hotkeys worth of abilities. Diablo only allows like 5 or 6. It's almost insulting, twice over. It is insulting that console players aren't seen as capable enough for more keys, but insulting that the devs are doing that, and telling us (expecting us to believe it) that consoles and controllers can't do more than that. But, I know that it is 100% possible to have 32 hotkeys, and easily. D-pad has 4 directions (more technically) that can be used to access different sets of keys. RB or LB can be used as a modifier button. So, ABXY (or the others on PS) for 1-4 abilities, and LB+ABXY for the next 4. Technically, this could even be combined with LB+D Pad to get 4 MORE sets... but, just keeping it simple here. All that is left is for devs to code 'peaceful' areas as different environments. In DDO this was set up in the keybindings area no problem. THEY did it in 2006, how, almost 2 decades later, are devs not capable? No idea. But, what that means is that you can have a completely different set of things you do with the D Pad and ABXY, etc, for when in town and/or talking to NPCs. I say it that way because when out in semi-hostile areas talking to a quest NPC or whatever, simply accessing the NPC can pop you into that side of settings. You aren't likely to need to have 'fireball' ready to cast when talking to the merchant standing by his wrecked wagon. After talking to them... probably will, though. Not while talking to them. The worst part of all of that is that the devs don't even include decent enough configuration options to allow US to handle it for them, since they seem incapable of doing it themselves. So, we are locked into crappy settings. Really wish devs would take a look at some other games that did certain things REALLY well, despite the game not being a success. DDO is that way for controllers. Side Note: DCUO is that way about 'roles' (Tank, DPS, Support), where everyone has a DPS side in addition to possibly a tank or support side, so that they can level through the game's campaign solo (as DPS) and still have their actual role when grouping. Most games have the problem of needing tanks and support in end game, but no real way of getting them TO the end game very well, which causes all sorts of problems. DCUO is for that, what DDO is for controller support.
Sees "hardest dungeon" and then clicks expecting a dungeon like Shikal but then get greeted with one of the easier dungeons. the only thing hard about this dungeon is the lag. the mechanic itself it pretty easy.
shaikal isn’t hard bro the purple mark mechanic is not even difficult, you just gotta watch for the timing and only move when he moves, stay near the center to get round him easier and you also need a competent person to open the gate for you too. i’m a dps and i know how to do it better than tanks lmao
was only hard when it first came out they nerfed it by going from 4 chains to 2. the only hard part is the buggy pillion in the middle to allow you to use chains.
Learning reward example. Sea of theives. We have all the same weapons and gear. We just learn how to use them better. I think physics would be one of the better elements to use.
Shroud i have question I'm in a guild I've been in it for roughly since launch recently the leader hasn't done much with us we're lucky enough to get 5 out of 22 people online we have 35 in a discord server and leader make a completely new guild on a launch server on top of that we have a tank that just hates doing almost any dungeon makes every excuse in the book for his struggling in them and we've literally explained the mechanics several times he'll only do open world dungeon but still complain about some of those saying you need over 2400 to 3000 power for some of these things when me and two other friends are literally killing these bosses from 80 to 70% and doing just fine in both versions of content he says he wants to do pve and pvp but hates pvp and won't do any pve unless he gets stuff out of it what should i do as guild advisor and the guild in general
The problem with what he's saying imo is mmo's by nature don't allow learning. Its a group game and if someone doesn't know how to do the mechanics they get kicked from the group. Obviously this doesn't apply if you are someone like Shroud or playing only with friends but that's not most people's experience. Just look at this comment section its just people be toxic
Yes not all people are dumb, but the ones that are keep you trying in dungeons for 30 mins strait cause they can’t read or want to turn on VC, couldn’t even explain NOT TO STAND IN THE FREAKING CIRCLE to a random the other day the guy for 30 mins strait died every time in circle, had another guy qued for healer cause he was tired of waiting and no one noticed there was no heals till 5 mins in and we all were dieing and this guys wasting people’s time…so yes people are not stupid, but a majority of console players don’t understand MMO and it shows…
SURELY Cursed Wasteland is worse right? I am a tank aswell and they way everyone does the purple vomit mechanic on wasteland is cancer for the tank, you gotta stand on 1 pixel between the vomit and the yellow line that you cant see :D once you get 1 person handy enough to do the top lever on Rex its not that hard
lol who the hell is doing the same dungeons over and over for fun 😂 definitely not the majority we need the rewards. Honestly for me pve rarely fun I just do it for gear to pvp but I know many ppl enjoy pve still but I don’t run into many people who enjoy doing dungeons for fun without rewards fuck that
@@96Caleb96 thanks for proving my point! the "simple jumping puzzles" are fun for precisely ONE (1) time and after that they become utterly brain dead and boring to do. and its funny that the only redeemable thing you could think of was the jumping puzzles lmfao! also proves my point because other than that its mindless dps checks. everyones a dps! just spam your abilities and kill the boss xD yeah so fun so ingenious
@@massyl25 what lol? if i got rekt that would be fun! thats what i want! i want to repeatedly get destroyed by a boss or a mechanic and have to problem solve my way around it with other players. i wanted to love gw2 so much but jesus fuck the end game fractals are utterly braindead! oh cool i get to do a jumping puzzle that stays the exact same every time i run the dungeon and then spam my abilities on a boss with 4 other dps. if there were difficult mechanics to figure out that rewarded focus, teamplay and mechanical skill i wouldnt say the content is doggy. nice try anyway though i guess
For me, pugs have been easier in Temple of Slaughter than in Cursed Wasteland. People just seem to not be able to block, and I guess I can carry ToS by singlehandedly doing everything than is hard e.g. jump to the middle and do the pillars by myself, or at least one pillar and usually there's one random that will think of pulling the other. That DPS 10K man, you're full T1 geared with BIS in slot? Everything's easy at that point, my DPS hits for 200 so you can imagine it's a LOT harder, do stuff in greens, not epics, and you'll get a true feel for hard/easy.
Shaikal // Wasteland is probably the hardest mechanically. I've done all of them atleast 10x. Slaughter or Destruction may be the hardest for healers. Bad healer == bad time
Let me see you cheese the sheep mech in duke magna 😂 love it one attempt n "alright we can just skip the mech" after starting the vid "the best part is learning"
hardest? lmao You just need one non-monkey brain to do the fly mec and a healer with cleanse skill to remove the fireball debuff from the tank when he's tanking all the 3 hits
If outta touch was a person it be Shroud. What it would take a normal person weeks to achieve Shroud has done in days ofc he’s gonna feel unrewarded running content when he already whaled himself to the top. And then the background content is just the cherry on top this just goes to show p2w doesn’t equate to skills, can’t Q block to save his life and aggros every mob when you can just skip 99% of them. In my opinion don’t take anything Shroud says as advice or factual he doesn’t think from “normal” player perspective just watch him for content snd entertainment.
Referring to the mmo with knowledge as progression, love the idea but monetizing something like that seems difficult and might be one of the reasons it doesn't exist?.
this is not the hardest dungeon… you guys made it that way. just learn the mechanics. Is actually extremely easy…… this is why mmos are easy these days, people really can’t be bothered
Hardest is Cursed Wasteland hands down Temple of slaughter is one of the easiest - I did it in the second attempt - it’s not difficult if you know the mech (even knowing mech in cursed wasteland.. it’s still horrible.)
i feel like none of the dungeons are hard just people cant be bothered to learn in pugs they just go yeah ill fucking face tank it and let someone else do the mechanics
