This gives the watchers a deeper understanding of what is going on in the clips. By editing the clips myself and giving them "my own touch" I am able to present a more fast-paced and enjoyable experience for the viewers.
While editing I add music to the clips in the video. On top of that, I edit and cut the videos to fit my style of content, on top of that I am a big fan of adding memes and other relevant gimmicks to provide a better overall experience for the viewers.
I provide the link to every submitter's channel in the description while showing their name on screen throughout the video.

Man, in LoL loser's queue is pretty much taken for granted, there are tools that help you see the match history of your team and based on that you can decide the outcome of the game with 80% accuracy or more.

Game companies have done research into something called engagement based matchmaking and what they have found is that if you lose games at the beginning of a session then win at the end of it its actually more addicting than just winning because you get the feeling of overcoming a great problem where as if you only win you don't feel like you've been challenged

It makes sense, especially for teenagers. When I was around 16, some friends introduced me to LoL. Whenever we lost we refused to stop playing until we got a win then repeat the process after losing another match. Now I'm at a point where I don't really care about winning and just play to relax.

I understand that winning feels amazing, but I also enjoy making a read, hitting a crazy shot, landing a lineup ive practiced, making an on the fly play with a random, winning a spraydown i really shouldnt have after we both miss 10 bullets , etc. If you only have fun when you win that means youre wasting hours not having fun that could be spent on literally anything else. I love competition but if you arent having fun during the competition part you gotta find a more productive hobby

Valorant is the only FPS I've played where it feels like my own performance has nothing to do with my ability to win/lose. The vast majority of games where I top frag and carry end up being losses because the rest of my team can't even reach double digits. I win games where I'm the one playing poorly the majority of the time. It really feels predetermined.

this is why I take a long break from val once my career becomes filled with losses. It feels like no matter how much I improve, two losses will throw me into a downward spiral that I cant escape. And the more I lose, the more useless my team collectively becomes, and it gets more frustrating as time passes on. It gets to a point where it feels like your team is actively trying to lose. Same rank, but somehow less teamwork, less comms, more instalocks, more throws, its like wtf is happening.

Healthy gamer has a lecture on how video games are addictive. He points out something called the triumph system in the brain that helps us feel proud and accomplished when we overcome obstacles. Riot has clearly implemented this into their algorithms of both league and valorant to keep people playing. You may hate losing 5-10 games in a row most of which were Autolosses essentially however you’ll keep playing and your brain will love when you finally win. Riot is a BILLION dollar global company that has the money to study psychology and keep you addicted and keep you spending money.

Well it makes sense coz If you win a game then next one you got team up with losers you just lose way more. But in my opinion it would be better if you put performance score queues coz playing with boosted players is worse than a good player having a bad game earlier.

It's psychological imo, if you're getting placed with losers then technically, for it to be balanced, there would have to be people like that on the enemy team too (of the same skill level). I get mixed results, sometimes my teams are good, sometimes they're bad, I don't necessarily think it has anything to do with weather I'm winning a lot or no, I do have winning streaks but I think my performance and demeanor plays a big factor into it, rather than external factors like a "losers queue".

When you are playing well (Winning or Being Team MVP even if losing), you will be queued with highest rank you can play with. If you are top 5 below the match. You will be queued with the lowest rank you can play with, with you and some other players as the highest rank in the lobby. See it for yourself in your rank history, especially if you are solo queuing.

It’s actually very true. I have had this theory of what’s called a “losing day”. Some days I will win a bunch in a row and all is fine. Other days if I lose 2 in a row I get off the game for the day because when I stay on I’ll lose 5-6 more in a row. before I quit. Doing that got me to immortal just not playing on my losing days

You can feel the improvement and the amount of wins increasing in almost all games, cs, pubg, fortnite, but in Valorant the more I play the more inconsistent the results seem. I don't know if they use this exact system but it's too weird

Yup and then there is the Smurf queue happening too in League, that probably happens in Valorant as well. When you're clearly winning all your games (65% winrate and more) you start to be teamed up with garbo players, and get players with high winrate and the other side. It's all made so you don't climb as fast as you actually should, making you spend more time in the game, being more invested to actually climb. No matter what, if you're good, you're still gonna climb, but it's gonna be slower, because Riot want you to keep playing their game. The more you play, the more you might spend money into it for skins. It's like McDonald. McDonalds colors (Yellow and Red) have been chosen for one purpose only: After 20 minute of exposure or so the brain is annoyed by these colors, so it makes you wanna look elsewhere/leave. That's because they want more in/out in their restaurants. They don't want you to stay too long so there's always more and more new customers.

I'm so glad that FINALLY Loser's Queue is getting more exposure to the mainstream gaming community. It's very real. And Riot definitely employs it in their games-- Valorant and League of Legends. They even have patents for their matchmaking. A lot of Riot shills will defend Riot, for some reason they believe Riot(a profit based company) has our best interests at heart, and will gaslight you into thinking it's just some wild imagination in your head. This can be very frustrating if you're a highly competitive person, which FPS and MOBA gamers tend to be, and when every single game feels like it's determined by matchmaking no matter what ELO you're in, you question your skills, your self worth, your sanity, the matchmaking integrity. It would be ok IF you could climb to your elo in a reasonble time, but Riot invented some obscure, behind the scenes "MMR" that represents your REAL elo, or true skill, while your visible rank lags wayyy behind. Also they made sure to base matchmaking on your mmr not your visible rank, so Riot only knows how good the players in the game are. So if Riot wanted one team to have a higher probability of winning without the other team being suspicious, they can easily do it! I personally feel they do other things in Valorant and League that assist in determining the outcome of the match. I think we as gamers have to stop supporting companies that employ these practices by not giving them our money. Go EOMM, Go Broke.

You know your in loosers queue when u say hello at the start of the match and get audio spam down ur headset from a tilted teammate, or, one of them is trying to throw the spike out of bounds on round 1 attack and the game hasn't even started yet. Enemy team may as well be sentinels back up roster in their own private discord server.

ok this actually makes a lot of sense. i am just hearing about the losers queue and it all MAKES SENSE. CONTEXT: so i play val only between 6pm and 9pm and most of the days i get really toxic players after losing the first match. this continues until about 8pm when i suddenly get a team that is carrying me lol

I don't think this is exclusive to valorant, i don't play val, but i play csgo alot and i am 100% sure they also have a loser queue, i would be playing fine, in a win streak of 10 matches, then it happens i lose 3 matches in a row that have been lost fairly, then it starts... Yeah i get days when i dont play as good as i normally do, but it starts putting me with players that are absolutely crap(toxic, leavers, boosted players...) and i go into a lose streak of 10 matches....

on multiple occasions (probably 75% of the time) ive lost 4 games in a row. they are all pretty fair games doe with maybe an ok smurf on their team, but for the most part its a balanced plat gameplay. Then on the 5th game, all of a sudden the enemy team walks while shooting, never clears easy corners, and just all around acts like bots. i know for sure its not me just magically getting radiant abilities and crushing them; i can literally sense they are worse. Of those games, after i look at what everyones ranks are, sometimes i see that i played against bronzes and silvers. i even ask my team how their games have been going and 90% of them say they are on some kind of losing streak. I know its just placebo and in my head, but it just seems sus

That's just hidden mmr, if you lose a bunch of games in a row and especially if you had bad kd while losing it will put you against lower ranked players and players with bad stats. After dominating the bad players you will be put back into normal matches again.

@@sakaixd5860 That's part of the engagement, though. Riot made the mmr system to combat smurfing and to create a "50% of winning for each team", but this is besides the point. If mmr works in a way to create easier or harder matches based on how many wins or losses you had in a row, then it's basically behaving in the same way EOMM does. So with EOMM it states that the more you lose, the less engaged you become, so after a certain amount of losses it gives you much easier games so you stomp, win, and then feel good again. This keeps you playing. Also with winning a bunch of easy games, you lose interest, get bored, and are likely to stop playing-- especially if you easily reach your desired rank. So they give you much harder, and almost impossible to win games by rigging the teams or gameplay, and now you lose, and are forced to play more games to continue climbing. All of this is to keep you "engaged" so you're more likely to spend money. If MMR behaves in the same manner, you have to ask yourself, what's the difference?

I get why people think that losing first and winning later is something that could be taken advantage off, but at the same time i feel like isn't it only natural to lose when you're not yet focusing properly still having your mind filled with whatever you been dealing with first or might still be dealing with during the first couple games and once that stops your focus increases obviously allowing you to perform better

When i won 5 times in a row and finally getting close to gold again. I lost... and lost.. and lost... But then i finally won 1 match again before getting demoted and it was awesome. After that, i never played ranked unless i at least won 5 unranked in a row to be sure i can be satisfied even if i lose and get demoted.

Losers queue is one of the main reasons i quit league, it's soo blatantly obvious yet many deny it. It's also just as bad in valorant, having repeated long winning/losing streaks but it's more tolerable since the game doesn't snowball like league. I have seen a similar MM system in Hi-rez games but it is even more blatant so i don't see why many believe engagement based matchmaking is a conspiracy when Riot is one of the biggest companies and there is research papers online regarding this system.

Go on any account and lose 25 games on purpose the system will adjust and give you very good players, to force a 50 percent win rate, so much to the effect you will find it very hard to lose games on purpose. The developer in the video is lying, they do force people to go on long losing streaks to force, wins for the enemy players with bad win rates. All these games over -watch. league of legends, mobile legends, cod , all use the same match making system.

I tend to not believe, but towards the end of last act ranked felt very streaky... I had something like 9 out of 10 wins, with the remaining game being a draw. I reached something around (a net win of ~150-200 rr) then, my win rate went down to 20% the next 20 games. I lost 16 of the next 20 games, with my only 4 wins scattered evenly (around 4 or 5 games apart from each other). I have to say though, this was the first time I played something like 40 games within 2 weeks, otherwise I play a maximum of ~3 in a day and usually get off after a loss or 2. I also stop playing after 2 or 3 wins often so my usual match history prior to this was never a full red or green. I have no idea if that's even in favor or against the myth, if anything I would say its in favor since taking breaks more often translated to me breaking win and loss streaks more times in my match history. 0

you can feel this instantly as well which is why whenever I do play this game, I limit all sessions to two losses. Their little gotcha mechanic can fuck off. This ruins the game imo especially when paired with the game's HUGE problem with smurfs. Once you lose, not only are you dealing with bad teammates, you have enemy players who shouldn't be at the rank you're at. Why have a ranked ladder when the game is literally making it so you can't climb? Actually fucking disgusting. Riot needs to keep their hands out of rigging ranked results.

I've been solo climbing a lot this season I went from bronze 3 to diamond 1. Previously I would play reyna/jett and entry kill everyone without baiting, get most first bloods, most plants, most defuses. I physically could not do more for my team but even then we would still lose. It truly was team diff. After seeing all the red matches on my history even with the constant MVPs I decided to just stop trying to do my best. I started playing sage and usually am mid to lower frags just sitting back or hiding and ive just been focused on playing my roles really well for impact kills/heals/orbs for rez and now I'm climbing. This just cements the concept that rank doesn't matter to me. I couldn't climb when I made the matches extremely easy for my team but now that i play like an average Joe I started ranking up.

Yeah, I find it better to play off your team mates strategies, rather than just going out on your own. That way, at least everyone is on the same page. Everyone likes to be in the highlights after all.

Follow up I did a mini self study on it use trackers on each player when I was losing I was being placed with people on avg with a 0-40 percent win rate via there last five games and when I was winning games I was being placed against those who are winning with 60-100 percent win rates per five games its rlly depressing :(

You can also see evidence of this now thanks to the blitz overlay, i can see the win rates of both teams and it is obvious losers queue is a thing, i can win 3 in a row and all of my teammates will have a 60%+ win rate compared to the enemy where they have sub 40%. Compared to if i lose one its the exact opposite. Makes it very hard to continue to queue after seeing it first hand.

Theres proof already on Dota 2 search that up. A lot of players searched on the API of the game and found out that players with similar streaks get queued together more often than not. Then Valve confirmed it on an update. Also confirmed creating easy games for people that comeback to the game so that they can fit in again. Winner queues and loser queues are a fast way to place smurfs and account buyers quickly into their corresponding ranks but imo it's completely unethical.

Thats how a lot of games with sbmm work, they combine recent game performance with lifetime performance, its really noticeable in games like apex where you get put in several extremely hard lobbies, get stomped and then are in bot lobbies for 2 or 3 games til your kd/wr goes back up (thats why so many apex streamers get insane games, cuz they play dozens of games a day, at least of quarter of which are in "bot lobbies" from rough game)

This is like that CSGo "myth" where people say your first ranked up game will define if you derank faster or hold your rank for longer. It´s like Valve testing to see if you deserve your rank, but for some reason, the first game I get after ranking up on a winning streak, it´s always with lower ranks in my team against higher ranks. When I got to Supreme after a huge win streak, I had Mges and Dmgs on my team, against a Full team of Globals and Supremes

That's NOT really it (close though) Thing is there IS a loser queue, but it just lasts 3 games (or so). That means though that there is a winners queue as well. Also, there's a Rank Down Match and a Rank Up Match, where this system is not applied, and they place you with teammates of higher/lower mmr than you in that scenario. This is very similar to the method applied in League matches as well. I was very into League on the first Seasons and figured it out to climb the ladder, and when I played Valorant it was almost the same concept there. Also let me be clear, this is not exactly it, there are other things that I don't know, but the overall concept is applied for the prior and that's most of what you should know to climb. I have tested it a bit but just by gut feeling, and haven't done proper testing.

This is why in league if you are trying to climb up in ranks, when you lose a game or 2 max you need to take a break for a few hours or even come back the next day. If you lose a few you tend to get a lot of players who are super tilted already.

I mean it’s actually true, coz I’ve had around 11-12 wins streak at the start of the last act and then at the end of the act I was on losing streak of 7-8 games. So now I only play 1 or 2 games per day with full energy

If a game has a ranked system, than it most likely has a secondary rating system for skill matching. Generally it's a point system that only acknowledges your most recent matches, as opposed to determining your skill off of a lifetime average. Performing well against those with higher skill ratings will increase your score, and performing poorly against those with lower skill ratings will decrease your score. It does this forever and never averages out, which is why you can get in and out of loser/smurf queues relatively quickly. I know Halo's matchmaking uses your past 20 matches for skill matching, other games might be 10 or even 5 (i'm pretty sure normals on League is 5, Valo might be 5 as well).

Your mmr is measured based on your performance against the other players (1v1) losing or winning, the system Will use It to put you against players of the same level... This is the Riot explanation about the ranked system, in other words, their already recognized that a long ago If you pay close atention on these words, by the way... Losers queue are part of every sbmm ranked system, so It would not be different in Valorant.

I went from Plat 1 to Gold 2 within 9 games :) But that was in Episode 4 Act 3, currently hardstuck Plat 1 40-99/100 RR But the games I went into after losing around 3 games were extremely toxic, like I didnt understand why but people just attacked and shouted for literally nothing. But after winning a game the next queue the people we're so nice and positive, like it made me feel warm and cozy ngl, compared to the negative, cold and harsh shi from the other queues.

Some people seem to imply that they want u to loose for a while and then win at the end because it feels more rewarding and is actually more addicting. With people agreeing that they feel it’s often that way. But it can’t be designed that way because If the whole lobby is on a loosing streak, half the lobby will win and end their loosing streak. For 1 team to loose 10 games. 10 other teams had to win.

The explanation is incorrect though? At least, the theory I understand is that loser's queue is designed to keep your winrate at around 50 - 52%, this is done because statistics show if a player wins too much or loses too much, they tend to either get too bored or frustrated with the game, then quit; the way people think they go about this is by putting the player in winner's queue games (games where their teammates have good winrates, and are on win streaks) after going on a loss streak, and loser's queue (the exact opposite) after going on a win streak. This would explain why everyone in Shroud's games are on loss streaks, they are currently in "loser's queue". Someone correct me on this if I'm wrong.

your 100 percent right and correct, the better your perform the more the match maker adjusts to give you worse team-mates while fighting stronger enemies. Ive seen bad players with 350-500 games with 53-57 percent win rates in elos that would be like diamond. Its about manipulating the games to win without over performing, and rising your mmr. The higher your mmr rating in your rank the less likely you will paired with decent or good team mates.

For some reason for from feb to june my match history was literally around 20 losses then around 20 wins, consistently, with i think only 2 exception where i lost a game among the win streaks by 3 afks in my team, and won one among the losing streaks after a long overtime These games were all completely unbalanced, almost impossible to lose a winning game or win a losing game, it was all decided before it started It was all ranked too, one funny thing is it kinda froze my rank and mmr by giving me a 50% win rate so in both winning and losing games i would be the best player in the game or at least my team, so i was match or team mvp almost all the games I really don't get it, i guess it could be a test on how a different queueing method would engage players, I'm not sure if i hate this one more or the loser's queue

Not Valorant, but in League of Legends recently I had promoted and immediately lost 2 games not once, not twice, but four times in a row. I would be playing well, win a couple games to get my promotion. Then in the same session, still playing well, would lose two games and get demoted. I'm not one to blame team mates and I always look to imporove my gameplay, but in those 2 lost games there was always someone on my team going mental boom or just feeding their ass off.

i actually never thought about it until recently when poeple brought it up but i noticed that when i was on a losing streak everyone on my team would have a 0-20% win rate but now that me and my duo/trio are at a high win rate everyone on the team will have high win rates. so people could deny it all they want there is definitely a loser queue

If the mmr system is like most elo systems of the past, it is definitely a losers queue. Not because it's designed that way but because the system rates a down trend elo greater than an advancing elo number. So when a series of players are the same relative elo are pooled, the down trending elo (losers) get grouped as favored players and rising players as fillers. You'll have 80% losers and 20% winners. Roughly 1 player on your team will be on a winning streak while the rest are winning/losing as a down trend.

I don’t play valorant, my fps favorites are Destiny and CoD MW2019. I have no idea if these games implement a losers que, totally possible though. However, some of my favorite matches have been where my team is losing badly and I’m in the groove, slaying out, but in the end we still lost. I really like that sweet spot where it’s hard fought, tipping back and forth between the teams, I don’t always need to win those matches to have fun.

Never played this game. It's actually been a minute since I played a multiplayer game. Anyways, I always loved games that include FFA matches. This would be almost negligible if everyone is going lone wolf. You vs a variety of skilled players. No stress carrying. It's ashame more multiplayer games don't have FFA.

It's been this way in chess tournaments for many many years. If you are in a tournament that isn't made for everyone facing everyone, then you face people with as close to the same score as you as possible. So your next opponent will always be at equal levels as yourself.

Not quite. What you just said is actually SBMM (Skill-based matchmaking) which is just matchmaking based on your MMR (hidden or not), this way almost all games you play won't be you or the opponent getting curbstomped easily. If you are actually very skillful/knowledgeable about the game, you could easily have WR that hovers around 50% to 60% which is impressive. What he's talking about is theoretically EMM (Engagement matchmaking) because you can be very good at the game but if you lose then the game will matchmake you with people who are clearly not at your level and/or their skills are clearly not where they should be, indicated by just watching them play the game. With EMM, your WR is an average of ~50% as much as possible, even if you're good at the game.

Some of us has been complaining about this for years in league, many times denied by employees and even players. True thing is there are algorithms not only for this but also to measure how many games you play a day, how much you play after losing. I made a new account and never kept playing after losing to check this out. I barely been experiencing the same I did with my main account.

tbh, what I do is just play a lot until I get teammates that are toxic or want to surrender early, that way I just grind with great teammates, win some, lose some, then lose a bit of RR in the end

Losers queue unfortunately is real. It helps balance ranks out wayyy better. If someone is in a rank they’re technically not supposed to be in, they would obviously tandom lose games back to back. It allows people who are winning to be placed in the higher rank more quickly, and punishes someone in an off day. Riot literally makes teams of people they think will lose to boost the players the balancing system thinks should be higher. If you’re getting -10 and +25 on games, you’re likely not in the losers queue. If those numbers are balanced or your gains are slightly lower than the losses of elo, stop playing for a day or 2

Losers queue is 100 percent real. If I lose two games in a row or win 2 in a row I get queued with some of my same teammates and other down bad or winning players. I have days where I win 5 in a row and days where I keep losing till I quit or finally win after almost deranking

That gives me a little more comfort in why I quit Valorant early on. I could never get a win and I’d bum me out super hard, on top of that I never really enjoyed playing ranked with people who were like diamond plus on Smurf accounts/boosting friends. I *know* I’m not the best at Valorant, but no one wants to play a game and basically be a walking target for pro players or queueing for another loss. It’s just not fun.
