There's no Sex Ed classes in my country so listening to them talk about so casually hurts my brain, I can't relate lmao 😭 But trust me that's way better than learning everything from experience... I didn't really know what it's like to be on period for example so I panicked really bad when I started having mine lol and I didn't know that women can bleed after losing the V-card until uh yk💀 So yeah, it's actually nice to see Luca and Shu talk about their experience with Sex Ed and biology classes

I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Most of sex ed class is coping with classmates snickering, and then being bored to death about things like "crabs" (basically pubic lice) and like "make sure to tell your partner if you have any conditions"...like, some of it is very useful. But it's definitely awkward to have your gym/health teacher put a condom on a wooden....rod-shaped thing. Or to hear horror stories from a peer, because apparently one of the teachers applied the condom to his arm. Which then broke. And then being with like, a small group of classmates with a bunch of things and that we were supposed to decide what did and did not constitute sex (like using toys and such) And for me, as a shy kid, like, it's good to know things, but it's also like *_AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA_* But yeah. As uncomfortable as it is for everyone involved, sex ed is really important.

Man, I remember that we had to watch like...at least three versions of Romeo and Juliet. The truly WEIRD one with young Leo, then the one with David Tennant (The Doctor)...but then there was the REALLY GOOD one with Kenneth Branagh as Romeo. Just...the scene where he goes, "Words. Words! *WoooOOOoOoORDZ!* " is just... 👌 I wasn't as clever about it as Luca, but basically every English class we had, the class/teacher would review the chapter. So I didn't really need to read the books...I just had to pay attention in class. Because they'd go over quotes and stuff. Mayhaps it's an adhd thing.

The way I KNOW what Romeo and Juliet movie they're referencing, because my hs drama teacher had us sign permission slips to watch the movie, yet in class or during free time, se was SO HYPED to "see Gwyneth Paltrow's boobies" it was hilarious to us. The scene itself is really chill, so nothing overly sexual, just... a topless scene of a morning-after. Anyway, that's WAY too much detail on a comment down here, I'm sorry clipper friend 😅

Not to be an insufferable movie nerd at you but, Gwyneth was in 1998's Shakespeare in Love, Claire Danes was Juliet in Baz Luhrmann's 1996 Romeo + Juliet, which is what I think you (and Luca) are talking about lol

@muriias the actors for Romeo and Juliet are suing the late director because he apparently convinced them to go nude instead of wearing flesh colored bodysuits. They were 16 and 15 respectively at the time. Then he promised that the way the cameras are angled won't actually show any nudity in the actual film which, if you've seen the movie or this clip, isn't the case.
