That’s what im saying, people sometimes rag on the animation but the producers clearly had dudes with massive skills working on this. But they had to work within the constraints of time, money, etc. but once in awhile their skill shines through like in the animation of that move
Shu and Rei had the coolest styles, I think the creators did the Nanto Seiken a disfavor in general, even Souther seemed more of a threat due his particular physicality rather than his Nanto style, the Taizan Tenrou Ken was also pretty underpowered even though it was cool too. At least the gave some (kinda) chance to shine to some style non-Hokuto related with the Gento but just for a short while.
@@Moh-Protto He was my favorite character but since moment he joined Ken I knew was going to die, now the ending of the manga pissed me off real bad, now that I think about there is rarely a good ending in mangas, I mean satisfying, seems they do not know how to close a damn story.
@@Sealdeam yeah True The ending of too seasons were not good at all Like his real brother (Sho) also died Or (Toky) or Even (Satchi) they killed all the heros…. They Never kept a heroes Fighting with Ken… ok ken is the strongest character but still Not a good idea of killing all the heroes
Trust me, Souther was one of the fastest and most skilled warriors in the series. At least equal to Ken in speed at that point probably, and he took it easy on Ken, and would not have needed his secret if he wanted Ken dead right then and there.
@@hitkid2456 He is when the plot requires him to be then he gets bodied like Shin and with Toki and Raoh pretty much saying that the inverted positioning of his vital points were his only advantage against Hokuto thus with his secret on the open Raoh dismisses him as a threat , I really like HnK but they made Hokuto Shinken way too OP, that takes away part of the fun, so many interesting styles are shown but all are trash in comparison to the Shinken.
@@hunterhq295 Hokuto Shinken, because its a secret assassination art, has the rule of sole succession. Anyone who fails to become the successor either voluntarily gives up the art or has their "fists sealed" in a variety of ways. The nuclear war messed that up though, and so you had multiple masters roaming the land, though still only one legitimate successor. Nanto Seiken has 108 styles among six different branches, though, as they were intended to be the elite bodyguards of the celestial emperor. so you could have many dozens of Nanto masters at the same time, each with their own schools and students, and they all acknowledge one another as legitimate masters of Nanto Seiken.
