They really need to get a judge with a dance background so they can actually judge dancers. Because nowadays they just be saying yes and standing ovations to dance groups that are not even that good.

Shuffling is much more than cheerleading. They were alright here. But I think they need more than two minutes to really get into it. Look around on RU-vid and you'll see what I mean.

@@lennychorn147 I agree with Sally. Yes here are a lot of good shufflers out there but that one chick does the same basic steps in every video just with less clothes on. They really made this look like a cheer or drill team halftime thing. It was just so so.

With energetic steps, it is becoming a new form of "square dance" occupying China's urban spaces from parks to plazas and a popular pound-losing exercise for many elderly and middle-age Chinese. It was made popular at the Electronic Dance Music Festival. 🤔

the origin of so called shuffling is in the distant past thousands of years ago. or do you really think that people started lifting up their feet and pushing them backwards just 40 years ago in australia? are you serious? I saw people "shuffling" in the 70ties, 60ties,50ties,40ties and I humbly think that people were "shuffling" even before invention of TV, it is not that waited for TV to be invented so that they can start "shuffling", just give it a few seconds research on youtube and your delusions about your australian "invention" of shuffling will be shattered 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, but what they are doing isn’t Melbourne shuffle actually. It’s Cutting Shapes. It’s a mixture of Melbourne shuffle with C-step and even swing moves such as the Charleston. That’s why Cutting Shapes has such a variety of possible music you can dance to. Usually it’s house music, but you can dance it to nearly everything. Even old classic music is possible. It’s quite unique actually.

As someone who has been keeping up with the shuffling community The Last time a shuffler was on a show of this prestige was in 2009 by one performer by the name of “Twiggy” on Australia’s got talent and the judges absolutely clowned him. it’s just a preview but with the amount of diversity in their styles has me looking forward to what the judges will that when this finally airs 🔥 regardless if they win or not, it’s shuffling history

It is definitely fun to do the dance. But some of the dancers have some real amazing moves. Like this one 13 year old girl. She looked like she was just standing behind a counter drying dishes. Then her mother stepped around the counter, that showed her feet were going 240, while the upper body was still.

Ok. Ok. Here we go.... You're great at what you do. I enjoyed watching, but this type of dancing did NOT originate at some EDM festival or wherever you said. You started off with the Running Man. My friends & I did that in 1990. Watch MC Hammer videos. Watch Young MC. Watch Moni Love. I understand millennials et al think they discovered everything, but you didn't. Now, I'm really happy you are dancing like late 80s/early 90s. Most fun I've had dancing in my life. Just don't try to steal it.
