I've said it before, and I'll say it again: This is the best version of this song.

Someone asked what guitar he's playing: it's a Little Martin. Also, someone asked about the chords. The song is in the key of A, but played in the C position with the capo on the 9th fret. Intro and verse is Cadd9-Cadd9/F. Then bridge is G-Em7-Fmaj7. Short pause is Em7-G-F. Then the last parts are C-Fmaj7-Am-G, closing with just C-Fmaj7 several times.

I've translated it: In the water’s surface where I jumped in the sky and the sea fold together. Flying through the water right under the folding sky. From the middle of the sea I can see the sky’s edge in the surface of the water. Flying through the folds of the water, floating in the sea, I am awakened. The front of a boat that was floating sinks. Now I can see it, I bird flying. Might not be 100% accurate but I think it's about right. I can post the Japanese too in another comment...

Man I love Shugo Tokumaru this whole album rules. Exit is very good too. Very melodic and catchy. I find myself singing his songs all day even though my japanese is rough. I really liked this video. Thanks for this..now only if i could meet him in person.

Purely amazing. I know a small fraction of Japanese but I know enough to understand he is singing about nature in some way. I absolutely love bands like this, and I think i just found one of my new favorites.

I've been obsessed with this performance of Shugo's since it was released! A question for Black XS Live Sound: was the bulk of this filmed digitally or on film? It has such a great film-grain look.

@TetraChromaticArt I think he is the best musicians out there today. I love every one of his albums, and ya i totally agree even though its in Japanese it feels so familiar. He has such a unique sound that is just beautiful.
