My father is absolutely obsessed with the video of you and your daughter dancing in the kitchen. We recently lost our mother, his wife, and whenever he's feeling down he watches your video to make himself feel happy. His 80th birthday is coming on July 8th and I would love it if we could make it possible for you to video chat him. It would make his day, week, month, year. There was a time when I could do these dancing moves. Gratefully, the music still moves my spirit, and I can recall the many hours on the dance floors, embracing so many lovers, and dancing to this music. If you're fortunate to live a long life, I pray your memories will bring you joy of the happy moments you recall. This family "embrace" certainly makes me happy. I did not come from a happy family, so this video brings to me such joy....
The most remarkable thing is that this is the kind of song I would usually dismiss with a "pfft" or two, and yet I find myself leaning into it and loving it. Also, although I have the best family in the universe, I wouldn't mind being a part of this one.
